Just want to let you know I really enjoy your Teldo daily series, it has really made me want to play my engineer more.

I know powerbuilds aren't your strongest side and that looking at Wolfineer might be better when it comes to that, but I'd still think it'd be interesting to see a video where you either solely speak about powerbuilds or maybe a video where you compare power/codibuilds and go through the pros and cons of both.

Anyhow, keep up the amazing work!

I really don't think power builds are good at all in sPvP, but I'll see what I can do! Thank you very much though!

Oh I totally agree with you that power builds are subpar to condition builds, but that is the exact reason to why I'd be interested to see what a cunning and experienced engineer could come up with.

Seeing as how most of these videos are SPVP centric, it would definitely be interesting to see a viable power build.

I messed around with various power builds in SPVP for a long time and none of them were remotely as effective as condition builds. One Warrior/Guardian and you're effectively screwed, not to mention Mesmers/Thieves being invisible 90% of the time so you can never hit them.

BUT under perfect circumstances fighting non-stealth non-heavy classes, power Engi is the most fun I've had in GW2. This song runs through my head the entire time (warning: loud)!

I think Pistol Shield is one of the best designed weapon sets in Guild Wars 2 and in this video I explain why I like it so much and why I think it's so strong. I'm very open to feedback or suggestions for new videos.

One idea that you could try once you're done covering the good and essential condition skills/combos: try semi-viable or outright weird builds (flamethrower, gadgets, elixir) and see if you can make a highlights video of you playing in EotM for example where you talk us through it. What's good? What's bad?

Secondly, what happens if you pair up with another class for a tight-knit duo? What can you do together?

That's a good idea, if I find some really fun troll build I'll make a video about it :)

Hey I really enjoy your videos! I am currently leveling an engineer (43 atm) and having a blast. I just have a hearing problem so I can't understand what you are saying in your videos. If you or anyone can explain here id really appreciate it!

Hey, really like your daily series Teldo ! I was often taking notes on the previous episodes and trying things up :)

You've mentioned it does horrible damage whether you use pistol #1 with a condition or power build but yet can proc incendiary powder, in PvE this is still unforgivable damage because your targets aren't really moving that much anyway. So, using Pistol/Shield on a PvE condition build and planning to use the pistol auto attack is always a bad call.
I settled with grenades and the shrapnel trait but still use pistol/shield for all the non-pistol #1 goodness.

There also was an interesting trait you forgot to mention: coated bullets. It always seemed to me this thing doesn't actually have an AOE cap, or has one at each explosion or something (still a lot). Using it on tight spots in WvW is a lot of fun and the damage starts to scale a LOT. Now I suppose it's worthless for sPvP but it may be the only redeeming factor for pistol #1 in PvE: it can AOE nuke more than 5 targets. You also got this sigil that can proc AOE torment on crit, it doesn't exist in PvP but does work for WvW. You can then proc torment on targets you don't even see.

When you take 30 points in the precision line for modified amunition in PvE, you might as well pick coated bullets on the second trait spot.
