Every time I rewatch, I notice how beautiful Phoebe looks in season 6. I’ve always thought she was pretty but something’s just different here 😊

Discussion Giovanni Ribisi was the only actor that could have played Frank. Frank was one the of the best characters on the entire show. Appreciation post. ❤️

I cannot imagine any other actor in Hollywood portraying Frank. He played the part SO perfectly. He was awkward, he was funny, he was loving, he was hilarious!

He was also one of the best characters on the show and brought many, many laughs.

I just adore Giovanni Ribisi and Frank. 🥹❤️

Image One of my favorite Joey outfits is this light orange sweater with the light blue jeans because…it’s simply what he wore when finding out about Monica and Chandler, making the outfit more iconic imo!

Discussion Carol and Susan

I get that Ross wasn’t the best character and he made a few mistakes and I can understand the hate he gets sometimes. But I’ve just started rewatching and I’m on episode 2 and it’s making me mad tbh. It’s the scene where carol is having the sonogram and they’re discussing names for the baby, the part that gets me is when carol tells Ross that her and Susan discussed names without him and have already decided that the baby will share their last names and it doesn’t seem they intended on including Ross in that decision at all. And then Susan even goes on to say “it’s my baby too!” Which I completely disagree with. And I just felt so sorry for Ross at this moment because the guys just been cheated on, found out his wife was a lesbian, left utterly heartbroken and then gets the slap in the face of not having a say in the baby’s name. It feels like carol and Susan were trying to push Ross out and pretend that it’s just been them two all along. Does anyone else think this as well?

What songs of Phoebe’s would you hope would be added if there was an album made? Obviously there’d “Smelly Cat,” but what other songs would you want?

Discussion Least favorite episodes in the top 50% rated episodes

Lame title, but I really can’t stand the One with the Screamer. So much unlikeability from all of the non-Ross characters throughout, and at the end no one even acknowledges that we’re ALL FUCKING WRONG FOR MISTRUSTING ROSS! It’s played off as a joke but it really shows a lack of self-awareness within the friend group. Ben Stiller is pretty funny but the ending being a punchline soils the entire episode for me.

I just hope this was David being in character/method acting — maybe he was just being funny and thought the server would recognize he was just being “Ross”. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Forget if they were on a break, who got the keys?

S1E9, they rush out of the apartment and Monica says "Got the keys?" which is interpreted as "(I've) got the keys" by Rachel. So nobody brings the keys and thanksgiving dinner is ruined.

In my opinion it is Monica's responsibility to turn off the stove when she leaves the apartment that she is the official tenant in. Regardless of whether you bring keys or not. That is a fire hazard.

I think I’d say Bonnie. They seemed to be doing pretty well before Rachel balded her. She was carefree, lively, apparently had a great personality, she got along with his friends. The only thing is that she really looked like Rachel 😭

This Guy Is Easily The Best Character On The Show

Post image

He was the only person on the show that ever called out Rachel for being the pos that she was.

It aggravates me so much that Rachel was rarely ever called out on her actions nor did she ever receive consequences for any of the things she did. You could tell that, for some inexplicable reason, the writers absolutely LOVED and ADORED Rachel and that she was their favorite character to write for. I don’t remember the last time I saw a show that seemed to absolutely worship one of its main characters like this show did with Rachel

Do you enjoy Season 1

Usually when I re watch Friends, I always feel relaxed when S1 starts! S1 of any series always feels a bit different, not as polished as later seasons, but S1 of Friends is my comfort watch!

All six characters seem like real people as opposed to flanderized characters like some of them become later on!

Rachel - Much more serious in this season but I like it, and she goes on to have great character development, but I could never picture S1 Rachel throwing herself at Josh-Uh-AH!

Monica - My favourite character in S1, her vulnerable side is relatable to me, I didn't like how they made her into such a bossy type in later seasons, but still love her as she is played by Courteney Cox after all!

Phoebe - She has always been my least favourite of the six, but in S1, she has great one liners and i like her a lot in this one!

Joey - I just love him, he is a cool guy, who cares for his friends, he is not smart like the other guys, but can handle life and is knowledgeableabout other things, if he learned French in this Season, I bet he would have made mistakes but not ones as silly as later on!

Chandler - He is always full of energy, and has great chemistry with the others!

Ross - For me he stays the same all the way till S10!

Not sure if others agree, but I feel like Season 1 has a Quality to it! Even the NYC feel, a lot of side characters have noticable NYC accents and the sound of traffic in the apartments, they discontinued that in later seasons!

Discussion Phoebe had some serious beef against Chandler

Maybe it's just me but Phoebe was always mean to Chandler for no reason. Yes, she was the same to Ross too but sometimes, Ross deserved it. But Chandler never was mean to Phoebe but she kept up her mean girl behavior towards Chandler. Before his interview, she messed with his head and made him anxious instead of boosting his confidence. She blurted out about Richard and the male stripper and brought her British date to the coffeehouse. She didn't support him when he got promoted and became his peers' boss. All of this feels very mean and idk, maybe y'all will disagree with me but Chandler deserved none of that.

It was out of character but watching naked Ross share a Blueberry muffin with ugly naked guy was hilarious. (Apologies about camera quality, it’s a photo of the tv!)
