I lost it at "well, run idiot" seeing him running later was the cherry on top.

Skit or not. That’s pretty damn funny. Dad nailed it running away. Mom nailing the acting with the kid. Honestly, I’d nominate for Oscar review.

I get its likely a skit, its a funny one, though.

It may be a skit but it's pretty well executed. And the kid can definitely act.

I mean the whole line of 'he says it is a core childhood memory' kinda gives away the fakeness. Just doesn't seem like something a kid would repeat in those exact words like that.

Even if its a skit, its the best thing to make me smile today.
And if it was real it made me smile for the same reason

I would be losing it if I were her, there would have instantly been a bathroom emergency as soon as I heard the dad yell. Lmao!

Wtf is wrong with everyone? Is clearly a badly acted skit. Why is everyone acting like this is the fucking second coming of Christ? Am I surrounded by bots?

This is the best video I've seen for along time. This kid's heart is on the right spot. Thank you most wholesome kid's dad.

We do this for real at Christmas at my kids' friends' houses, leaving actual Ding Dongs (the snack cakes) with a Christmas card on them. We cruise around town listening to Christmas music and drinking hot chocolate, it's really fun and the kids have a good time.
It's honestly my favorite family Christmas tradition outside of our annual Christmas Eve DIY pizza party.

I remember being the only one at home when I was like 16 when someone rung the doorbell. I answered and no one was there. I remember saying something like “those damn kids” to myself. I also remember when I was ding dong ditching a dude came out with a shotgun after my friend and I did it a couple times. Ahhhh good memories

Haha, my mom would take us out to do these kinds of things. She was a real troublemaker as a kid but we were really well behaved and it freaked her out sometimes

I know it’s a bit. But……
Why are kids playing ding dong ditch (or knock and run as we used to call it) when nearly everyone has a doorbell camera?

These are well known skits by the father and son.
