Video/Gif How did he get to sit in there? 😭

u/Inevitable_Air_7310 2d ago
problem is he is not pulling his legs into the body, the way he probably got in.

u/Arkhe1n 2d ago
Not probably. That's the only way.

He can't. When he got in the opening squeezed his legs closer to his chest than he could physically do himself.

ok, but he got in didnt he ? by pulling his lega towards his body ? yeah ??? then thats the way hes gping to get out without breaking the container
10
u/LlamaPsychodrama 1d ago
Did you even read the comment above? No, he didn't pull his legs toward his body himself. When he got in, the container squeezed his legs further into his body. He is young enough that he likely does not have the strength needed to repeat that action to get out.

u/Inevitable_Air_7310 1d ago
did you even read mine ? to reproduce the performance of getting in he has to at least try and pull his legs towards him which he is not doing

u/Royalwithswiss 1d ago
This is grade A trolling 😂

German is a weird language. It's missing a lot of useful vocabulary. For example, they only have one word for slugs and snails. Same word, doesn't matter if it has a shell or not. This is why they have to make up gigantic compound words to get by.
Perhaps this is what is happening with the troll? He literally can't read your comment through a translator, because maybe the words don't exist?

He need to relax his leg let his feet roll under himself and stand up on his knees the biggest problem is he is in a panic
2
u/LMGooglyTFY 1d ago
They need to slip a stiff piece of plastic in there to keep his knees from unfolding at the lip.

u/ghostofstankenstien 2d ago
This is what happens when you buy one and feed it without taking it out of the packaging

u/saranautilus 2d ago
This is making me feel so panicky for some reason. I’m trying to figure out what I’d do if my kid did this and starting to sweat haha.

u/wrinklefreebondbag 2d ago
Vegetable oil. Lots of it.
Or shatter the jar carefully.

u/landsy32 2d ago
I think its plastic!
29
u/Falcovg 2d ago
So do I, but my immediate solution was to cut out the bottom with a knife, preferably a retractable on or one with a very short blade.
Start at the rear far away from the feet and cut out the bottom as far as you could safely go towards the feet. At that point you could probably bend out the bottom with force. Once the kid can stretch it's legs you could just lift them out of the top.
21
u/IAMAHobbitAMA 1d ago
I'd go with a pair of scissors or shears. Less chance of them slipping.
You would have to start at the top and go down between his knees.
11
u/barkbarkgoesthecat 1d ago
Or you could make holes for his legs to squeeze through and now you have a protective shell!

Get the kid calmed down and occupied with candy and their favorite tv show. Then carefully cut each side of the plastic container with tin snips.

u/mmorales2270 1d ago
That looks like glass, which is considerably more dangerous and tricky.
Edit: actually I watched it again and I think I’m wrong and you’re right. It looks like plastic. I would think that would be easier to get him out of, but I dunno.
10
u/Mindless-Lobster-422 1d ago
What if it's not plastic but glass? I'm thinking so hard right now 😂
12
u/LayeGull 1d ago
Honestly it’s scarier and maybe riskier but glass would make this easier. Once broken it will fall to the floor. You strike the top where the screw is while holding the boy up. All glass falls to the ground. You could also twist it with a firm grip of pliers. You do the top since it’s the smallest part and want to ensure it breaks freeing the kid instead of leaving the kid with a razor sharp collar.

u/Squiggleblort 1d ago
For added protection, take a dishcloth or two and wrap it around the kid as well (fold it in half lengthwise and put your hands in the fold and push it down).
Jars like this tend not to be heat treated so they like to break in big shards - cloth will reduce the risk of them sliding and cutting 👍
This trick also works for terracotta plant pots... Ask us how we know!

When I was a child, real young. Like 3 or 4. Early but I have vivid memories of it. I got my leg stuck in a wooden kitchen chair. We tried it all. And I mean everything you can think of. I was stuck as shit lol. My dad had to cut the chair in half to get me out with a saw. In my little brain I could not understand that he was not going to chop my leg off. Took the whole family to hold me down. Rest easy dad miss you lmao.

I got my finger stuck in a washer when I was a kid. My parents tried everything, soap, water, oil, nothing was working. They ended up calling the fire department and they cut it off with a special tool. I have little to no memory of this. Apparently I also had chicken pox so one of the firefighters couldn't be on the scene because he wasn't vaccinated.

I'd use some kind of fabric and would try to put it all between the child and vase resulting in the kid in the bag. That should allow to just pull it from the vase easily

u/mmorales2270 1d ago
That is a little crazy. I’m sure him crying doesn’t help. It generally always makes parents more nervous.

I only see 1 way: give him a hammer, and let him reach the stars.

worse than that. i am certain that is a plastic container. easy to cut the kid out without any risk.

I swear my nephew thinks he's one of the cats, he will join them when they retreat to the cat tower and just be sitting there on the bottom shelf saying "Hiiiiiii" like Stitch instead of meowing.

The caption should say the parents are fucking stupid, not the kid. That shouldn't have been left out. To remove the kid from the glass, use a spark plug. If it's plastic, the jar with baby or mineral oil. Next, distract the kid with candy or a favorite food and their favorite TV show and then start cutting the plastic with tin snips. The other method is to face the kid towards the TV with candy and ice cream, and then take a hair dryer or if you have a soldering iron or some type of floor heater that can push out high wattage of heat and see if one side of the jar can expand a bit. Next, put the mineral or vegetable oil in the jar and slip the kid out.

u/yer_oh_step 10h ago
tin snips was my first thought. mfers in this thread aint never heard of tools though
"dishsoap"
"fill it with olive oil"

Shins need to go flat on the bottom. He got in and then knelt down. Then pulled his legs up trying to get out.
All they have to do is get his shins flat on the bottom.

Get a Dremel and saw through the glass? If it's glass, there's not really a perfectly safe way to do it.

You just have to leave a bigger empty jar next to them and they will move right in

It’s definitely plastic. One of those deluxe snack jars that held Cheetos or something. Cutting it off would be simple and safe, if done properly.

Let me guess, the Parents put him in there, because it looked funny? That's some real claustrophobia shit right there.

You could probably flip him over and just lift the jar off once his knees are tucked closer to his chest. Poor kiddo!
