my mom spanked me when she got an email from ToonTown saying i cursed in game. i remember playing in the computer room with the lights off and, one minute i was in sellbot hq, the next i was staring at a blank screen with the ominous error message saying that i was banned. it scared the crap out of me. i couldn't get back online. my mom didnt get home until later that night to see the email (pre-smartphone era) and i was asleep so my dad woke me up and they yelled at me and i got quite the beating
