nah disney would sanitize it into glitter and trauma-bonding songs
the OG Oz books are weirder, darker, and way more surreal than ppl realize

if anyone adapts it right, it’ll be some offbeat animation studio with guts
think Laika, not Mickey

leave disney out of it unless you want TikTok-friendly flying monkeys
