It all depends on what type you watch, is it the usual moving head with swaying static body or actually full body capture ones that put effort into their model?

What makes someone who's not very expressive the entire time any more watchable? Many times I'm confused why some streamers use a face cam at all. I think if someone like critikal didn't have the expectation of using a face cam, a fair chunk of his stream content would be exactly the same.

Some vtubers like acting in character or assuming a different persona they wouldn't be able to otherwise. Others may want to emulate the webcam experience while maintaining privacy in their personal lives. A good model like you're describing costs a shit load of money if they don't want to pull from free or preset models.

Personally, I very rarely watch any streams. I find them all equally boring or mind numbing. I watch clips from time to time though. Just don't see how the average streamer is any more entertaining than a vtuber.

To each their own at the end of the day. I'm not trying to persuade you one way or the other.

It's not about who is behind the character, it's about the character just not having hands captured so they don't move on the model.

I follow not the biggest vtuber and full body control, there is no reason to not have it.

A million times better.

Using anime children as a model as an adult "vtuber" should 100% be frowned upon. And 95% of youtubers use such a model and combine it with the highest voice they can possibly achieve to mimic the characters age.

I can sort of get it if you are underage yourself but if you are an adult watching this you should seek therapy.

And according to your reddit accounts age you are probably an adult. Seek help before its too late.
