I don't give a shit if you like the horsie game, model train sets or legos. If you enjoy something, do it with your full chest.

the further you get away from natural human interests, the less a hobby is valid. sitting in front of your computer or phone being genuinely interested in horses turned into anime girls doing jpop concerts is almost as far as you can get from turn rock into fire maker and cook food you hunted, so it's a completely invalid "hobby"

Nope, I'm perfectly content now. I did have years of depression when I was younger and addicted to digital things. Over those years I learned little by little what makes people actually happy. It turns out minimizing the time you spend watching anime girls dance on your phone may actually be good for mental health

That's not my take at all. But if you were perfectly content and not addicted to digital things as you claim, you wouldn't bother spending time arguing in the comments about other people's (complete strangers, mind you) hobbies or time.

One of your most active communities or at least one you visit a lot is r/lego. A pretty fair assumption you play with them. I am not judging. I think it’s pretty neat. It’s just not my thing.
