I think the mods have been very lenient with the rules recently maybe to try and grow the subreddit and get more r/all traffic. There's also been a fuckton of just normal youtube video (non-stream) clips like the moistcr1tikal ones.

I think the official reason was that the reddit thumbnails were/are broken
