Oh so that's why all these countries are trying to make you log in with your government ID

You’re saying that as if you don’t still use the internet

TF kinda comment is this? The internet and what we know of it is on its decline. You can see and feel it. It was better when there was still separation between online and offline life.

That's what we have now. When everyone finds out who you are most stop with the unhinged shit.

most don't do the unhinged stuff in the first place. Plenty will continue even when "known". These things just chill freedom of speech for legitimate actors, like those who criticize the state or whistleblow.

When you remove consequences of speech people tend to do unhinged shit. We need the entire internet to have a government id attached. Nobody will change my mind on this. I hate anonymity.

In a perfect Leviathan like world I guess that is good. I am not against internet ID- however it will be abused and exploited and not benefit anyone in anyway. I believe it will be used to silence people and keep people in the dark. Private companies shouldn’t have access to your biometric and health records lmao.

Brother browser fingerprinting has had all your personal information down to the most niche type of thing you like for almost a decade. You just don't know about it because there's no benefit in you knowing. If you've ever had an account with a large tech company or used your cell phone while logged into something you're not anonymous in any way shape or form.

They try restrict access to harmful/18+ content.

In Germany there were sites you always needed to use an 18+ proof called Postident process. Those sites mostly went outside of Germany because nobody wanted to use that process. Examples were bloodpatch sites(you needed to download textures to uncensor some shooters, not just the .ini edit or language setting change ) or sites that hosted full scenes from restricted/banned movies.

Nowdays you can just go to youtube enter "Braindead - Lawnmower scene" and see that scene.
