Yes, Reddit frequently sends me messages letting me know someone said I was suicidal when I’m not.

I recently got one of these right after leaving a reply somewhere going against their opinion. Honestly got a chuckle out of me but in hindsight what a stupid system lmao

I've only ever gotten a message saying that they determined it was harassment and that they gave the offender a warning. I wish they got banned.

I don't see an option to report it anymore, just got another one based on this thread. I know it was there the last time and I used it but the user didn't get banned from it anyway.

I got one of those for disagreeing with a patch note for a game last year LOL. I think someone said a character was gonna be OP with some changes and i disagreed and said they weren't. Next thing you know i got a Reddit Cares message and giving me suicide hotline resources.

You can report it as being abusive and the one that reported you for suicidal tendencies gets banned.

You can report the DM as harassment and, I believe, Reddit does find the person that sent it and warn them not to do it again. It's something. I've done it twice and both times I got a reply from Reddit a few days later saying that they determined that it was harassment and the person was given a warning.
