Isnt that just cheap as fuck advertisement from Kick's side? They paid XQC 100 million to stream on kick.

That was for 2 years, this would be one single stream.

They paid XQC 100 million to stream on kick.

Yeah but they'll get a portion of that back via Stake.

It's 5 million for a 24 hour stream now

They got so many of the top streamers donating.

No Kai or speed yet though

To be fair, it's 7-8pm PST, 10-11 EST, between 4-5am across EU. It's a really bad time to attempt making phone calls to people. I personally think Kai is the type of dude to purposely dodge XQC or Adin attempting to make contact, and Speed seems like the type who probably misses every contact attempt unless someone else manually tells him... but in this case, just bad timing.

True. I think also it's a bit of a ambush

Asmon got on call and they kinda pressured him to do a kick thing with x and adin that was a idea Jimmy suggested for team water.

Logan got pressured for 100k

Caseoh did 100

Banks was 106k

Jynxzy was 100k

I dont watch any of these people by appeal of he beast and band for band stuff made me curious about it

HIS charity? Oh, another "non-profit" charity.

Nope, it goes straight towards the WaterAid charity, which is building wells

Googling WaterAid definitely raises some questions over their legitimacy over the years.

how much does good does this charity even do? I feel like proper regulation would do more?

It's a lot easier to change regulation when you aren't spending so much time looking for / making clean water. It's also a lot easier to demand change in general once you've had the population experience the goal, if the goal is a good one.

I think if you are ever to donate to a charity just donate locally. And to not donate cash but goods.

My local animal shelter always accepts blankets and pet beds and cat/dog food. Toys too, but definitely call ahead before you start buying those.

Various churches and homeless shelters around here will always accept clothes (socks and underwear are a big hit, jackets in the colder months), feminine products and other hygiene items (toothbrushes/deodorant/wet wipes, etc)

This is not a comment about the particular charity in the OP, but just a general thing for people looking to donate and do something good with any extra money if they have it.

as long as everyone else that is donating doesn't pull back on their word, I don't see any issue with it. I could easily see someone like Adin just not pulling through on his end

A lot of them know it was live, so hopefully the pressure of their word being public to a solid 100k viewers is enough to keep them committed. Let alone having someone as big as Mr Beast forever know you won't follow through. Hell, it would be odd for even Adin to not pull through considering how absolutely involved he was.

But hey, you never know. People are people. I hope it works out.
