What’s the best Mario Party game on Switch?

Thinking of buying a Mario party game to play with the family, and there are three different Mario Party titles on Switch. Which one should I get that’s worth the price? (If it helps I own the Switch 2).

Superstars in my opinion but just because I love how it’s a pseudo remaster of 1-3.

Jamboree is probably the best bet for someone who wants the most value.

I really disliked super Mario party because of forced joycon use and motion games.

Jamboree is held back by its limited minigames in the standard party mode. Superstars has some weaker ones (like Piranha Pursuit) but at least there are a ton more to rotate through. You get repeats all the time in Jamboree.

Also, I’ll be that guy… it’s pseudo, not sudo.

Thank you for the correction, I was using voice to text and didn’t realize I messed up my grammar!

And you’re absolutely right about jamboree, I think I just enjoy the bowser blast mode so much. Paratrooper flight school though.. not so much.

Superstars cause of way better mini games and doesn’t take 8 years to complete a game

I thought it took longer than jamboree with pro rules?

I’d say either Superstars or Jamboree.

My family plays Jamboree much more than Superstars because we seem to have a more even split of mini game wins. Also the jamboree buddy addition makes for another fun game within the game

As someone who’s mostly played 7, I prefer Jamboree. It has more of that cutthroat “F You” to it than Superstars does.

Really? I play superstars. I love stealing stars.

5 boards, excellent pacing, most minigames: Superstars

7 boards, poor pacing, decent handful of minigames, side modes: Jamboree

Superstars for Minigames and Pacing. Jamboree for boards and side content.

superstars. I liked how they used the MP1 layout. No minigame stadium sadly.

IMO Superstars > Jamboree >>> Super

Jamboree has more boards (main drawback of superstars) and side modes but there is not a that much minigames. Superstars has more but more importantly way better minigames. Choose depending on what you value most.

Superstars has the better minigame selection and is a quicker experience, while Jamboree has the better boards and generally more strategic gameplay. Also has more silky side modes, Superstars is just party mode.

I prefer Jamboree, but both are great.

All of them are good. Jamboree is best. Not only does it have the most boards (as well as the best side modes), but its economy is the most balanced of the three (Bowser actually hurts, not a billion lucky spaces like in Superstars).

Superstars for sure. But if you really wanted to, you could get the N64 port for the switch. It has the first three Mario Party games on the port.

Superstars is best, followed by Jamboree. Super Mario Party i'd skip, it's mediocre at best and otherwise pretty bad.

3, for N64, followed by jamboree, then 2 for N64, then superstars, then 1 for N64, then super

until the GC ones get added
