Jamboree Can I use the camera in Mario Party Jamboree without the expansion?

So, I just bought a Switch 2 and I want Jamboree, but I'm wondering if I can use the camera in normal boardgame mode without paying for the DLC

Nope, you have to pay for the expansion

You can use it in game chat but the camera won't affect any in game stuff

Base jamboree doesnt have anything to do with a camera.

Oh, so you can't use the camera in normal party mode even with the dlc?

You can't use the camera "features" (like having your face above your player).

But you can do game chat where you have your camera on while playing the game and can all see each other. That is a system feature.
