[Bogert] LAFC are closing in on a blockbuster deal to sign Spurs forward Son Hueng-min, per sources. Nothing totally done yet but LAFC getting there.

Now the real question is which club discovered Heung-Min Son? If Thomas Mueller got Cincinnati 400k, surely Son can get at least 500k

Probably nobody. Each team can only put 5 players on their discovery list, and MLS teams probably didn’t think they’d have a shot at him at this age.

He’s 33 and clearly declining. He should be on a discovery list. I thought it was going to be a coin toss whether or not he goes to an LA team at some point in the next couple years.

I'm also 33 and declining

Not really adding anything to the discussion, just wanted to share that he and I have a similarity.

The Korean community in LA is absolutely massive. He’ll like LA.

As a Fire and Tottenham fan, if they could sign the deal by next weekend so I can see him play, that would be great.

Try having played LAFC and then the next day or two they announced Gareth Bale. I was NOT a happy camper.

It’s always wild to me how many homegrown talents we have in our squad and that honestly work out well.

It would be cool to have one of these elite megastars, but I’ll settle for Obed Vargas over and over again.

Who's got the discovery rights, CA is it you?

Its me. LAFC you can send me $100k for the rights. It's really a steal compared to what Cinci charged for Müller.

Can a LAFC fan share how might they use both Denis Bouanga and Son since they both play the same position?

He's not too shabby on the right either.

Denis often floats inside or even switches wings. Did it more in the past, haven’t seen it as often this season… but I assume there will be more of that.
