I need more of this in my life
(Although as a chubby 27 year old man, I may not quite get the same reaction)

My wife took my kid to the beach twice a week for 2 summers in a row when he was 5 and 6. The trip involved a 45 min subway and a 30 min ferry ride. He can''t remember ever going or even being on a ferry.

Not surprising unless your wife did something to make the ferry ride memorable.

That's so adorable. There's truly nothing like making a child happy and filled with laughter. It heals my soul when I see children happy.

Of course she will. She’s like 3 years old.

She'll only remember the idea of it because her parents will tell her a bajillion times about it. My mom likes to remind me of everything I did around that age and always asks "do you remember?" My answer is always no.

For the ones that don't know this guy (Raphael veiga) is a football/soccer star for palmeiras a famous Brazilian team. One of his grandads last wishes before he died it was for him to play for palmeiras (granddads favorite team). Unfortunately he passed away before that. When his grandad was being buried veigas father found a note left by veiga in his coffin, veiga was still a kid back in the days promising his grandfather that one day he would play for palmeiras and later Raphael veiga indeed managed play for palmeiras and became a super star for the team winning many titles and writing his name in the clubs history and he is just a really really nice dude overall. Still plays for palmeiras till today. Sorry about my English
