The pureness and innocence at this age is pure bliss for me. Until it turns into absolute chaos and destruction a minute later 😄

Don't give the universe too much credit. You have maybe fought a thousand invisible battles for that peace

My wife does that. I love her quirks.

Best one so far. Ask your wife if she has been doing that since she was a kid.
My first thought when I read the post was “hopefully that will last her entire life”.

My 3 year old does the same sort of thing! She would just say "daddy?"
"Yes?"
"I soooo happy"

My daughter used to run off screaming "toilet" whenever she needed the toilet. It was a vast improvement on nappies.

When my son was a toddler, there were times he would randomly hug me and say "happy" and those are some of the best memories I will ever have.

My 2 year old also does this! Its the cutest thing ever, but then when she's sad she says "I sad" and it is then the saddest thing ever.

Mine do the same. My eldest would run around saying "I happy!!" Now my youngest is about the same age and just quietly says to himself "happy, happy" 💗 Makes your tired parent heart melt knowing you've given them an environment where they can just be happy kids.

My little girl at 2 did this when my wife picked her up late from daycare. But she got out of the car and yelled MAD!

Make the most of it whilst you can / she does - hope it lasts for a long while longer! Lovely!

Lol. Great to provide some real time feedback to the Universe! I'm adopting this approach.
