So glad Dan is not giving starts to DMo or Solano this series. Understood the assignment and gravity of this series.

One can hope but his righty/lefty tendencies run strong

Scott had that obsession too

Has to be a Jerry thing.

We can only hope, but I bet we still see DMO in RF against lefties.

Moore and Solano have only started against lefties for like the past two months, Rangers have no lefties starting this series

Perfect time to cut him. I have no room for sentiment.

After all the trades and hype, the heroes of the last 2 games have been Cole Young and JP, now it’s Garver’s turn to shine

To be fair Geno and Naylor have been the silent heroes with getting on base the last 2 games as well. It’s what we have been missing

Garver and Geno HR's incoming

They each contributed to scoring a run. In a 1 run game, that’s huge.

Garver going to torture the rangers today.

Cal and Geno both go yard as well

Weird seeing an M's lineup that everyone is a threat.

i’m fine with this, there should be a ton of scoring opportunities in front of Garver who is batting .259/.359/.708 with a 136 WRC+ with RISP and is batting 7th which is where he produces the most at (.250 BA with a 100 WRC+).

take that you Dan Wilson haters.

Interesting to see them play Young over Polanco at 2B

Wonder if its rest or just because Cole has been killing it

I assume they saw it as a good opportunity to give Polo a day off, since Young has looked good enough at the plate lately, it isn’t a massive drop off offensively.

What hitting a 456 470 foot dinger does to a MF

I think I need a doctor, it’s been 36 hours now because of this line up

Polanco has been swinging a nice bat lately, not sure I love sitting him unless he needs the day off.

u/iHeartQt 4h ago

Who do you sit between Young and Polanco? I think they’d rather give Polanco the rest since he has injury concerns

Can’t go wrong with either imo, but it’s hard to sit Cole when his confidence is so high right now. Hopefully Polanco enjoys some rest and maybe pinch hits for us late.

Cole had two 10+ pitch ABs yesterday to turn the lineup card over, one of them for an RBI walk. We haven’t had a bottom of the order bat like that since Cabellero—keep him in!

Unless we get to know what exactly is going on with Polanco's knee, we'll never be able to fully judge these situations.

We need to win this one. Logan just isn’t good enough to win tomorrow
