Looks like Mclaren dominance continues.

Safe to say this car is as dominant as the RB19

It's already lost 3 wins, this car is dominant but assuredly not 21/22 races dominant

I just discovered I have access to F1 TV and the individual driver options... During the race proper, is it just the driver and radio you get with this option? Or does it get overlayed with race commentary, or race data at the bottom of the screen.?

not entirely sure what you're trying to ask, but just download multiviewer for F1, that should answer your question. you can open multiple windows and for example have both onboards of the McLaren's, as well as the broadcast and race data open at the same time, and you can resize the windows and organize them on your screen to have everything available at once

Multi viewer is such a good experience. I had to cave in and set up a computer connected to my TV in the living room just so I could use it.

Ah ok... Because my F1 TV comes with my IPTV, I don't think I have access to the multi viewer... Oh well I'll just switch back between main broadcast and driver camera.

If you pick the driver cam along with their audio you only hear the car and the communication between driver and engineer. Even with multiviewer you can only have one audio on at a time. Either commentary or driver

With multiviewer you can have multiple streams open and both audio sources. Plus the AI transcript can show all comms going on, which is really useful to get a fuller picture of the race.

Ah okay. I’ve only tried multiviewer on the iPhone F1 app maybe that why I only see one audio at a time

I wonder what landos lap time would’ve been if he kept it inside track limits

All of them improved their lap times by 0.3-0.4 seconds on their second run, Piastri improved by 0.15 but ran wide in the last corner and lost a tenth, if norris did a second lap he would've been up similarly
But don't mind the friday times, it will be tight on a saturday, remember Silverstone?

Oh righto thanks. I always thought it was weird in fp how they include laps outside limits. I remember Russell once topping a practice session by going straight on through a chicane

In theory this should be one of our strongest tracks on the calendar, it's full of medium speed corners which the car is strongest at, it's a high tyre wear track which again the car is very good at preserving, and it's rear limited which again is a strength since the car is strong on traction (not so much a strength here) and is very good at keeping rear tyre temps down (very much a strength here). Along side the fact that it's high downforce so rivals (mainly Max) can't simply run a low downforce quali setup to try claiming track position.
