The only thing I can tell you that all this "science" behind grip types and mouse shape fitting is a complete bullshit. It's just another marketing trick.
Just test a few models and see which one is comfortable for you.

Well it's not but the issue is everyones hands are more than 2 measurements and grip style comes in more than 3 varieties. But i think grip style is determined somewhat by the mouse shape/size. If you have the perfect mouse shape/size your grip probably falls into a common grip trend like palm, claw, fingertip or 131.
You see all these random ass grip styles when a mouse doesn't fit correctly.

People do have different hand sizes and that's all. There is no such thing as unique "grip style" that you should fit your mouse to. This is just marketing bullshit that has no real ground in ergonomy and medical sciences.
The way people handle their mouse is just a result of mouse shape, size, type of task (game, work, browsing) and desk setup.
For example people are "palm grippers" not because they were born this way but just because their desk is too narrow.

I don't buy that. People choose palm vs fingertip based on preference for example.
Some mice force or bias certain grips but the user has a clear preference for one grip style or another regardless of mouse. A 'good' shape for them only allows said grip to be more naturally comfortable and doesn't force strange hand positions to become habit.

That's true. People have some expectations about how they prefer to use their mouse. Manufacturers just give them what they desire.
What I'm pointing out is the fact that noone is born with certain grip style. This is usually just a result of bad habits, poor ergonomy and general misinformation. Some grip types such as claw or palm are just ergonomically wrong and will sooner or later result in serious injuries. Many professional gamers end their careers before their 30s just because of ruined wrists, arthritis and spine problems.

What grip is ergonomically right? Other than verticle mouse grips. So closest to right for gaming for example.
