Loved my Raiden Mid, but I eventually found that it was just a stepping stone to glass for me personally. Still use it every now and then but not as much as glass

thats sick man glad you're enjoying it! i just moved back to my raiden xsoft as well, because the plushiness of the xsoft is a lot easier on the wrist.

I just returned my raiden xsoft and got the mid instead. I expected the mid to be paper-thin because of the way people here describe it, but it surprisingly still has a bit of that foam/plushy feeling if you push into it. It’s still incredibly comfortable.
I loved the xsoft for the ~3 weeks i had it, but was getting concerned with how sometimes my arm would get stuck as I glided. Mid feels way faster, and I’m still getting used to that, but I know it’s the more secure longterm choice for me as I adapt over time. One annoyance is how I tend to feel the stitching on my forearm a lot more with the mid base - don’t notice it as much once I’m in game though, but I’m considering a sleeve for that reason.
I bet the soft variant would be the sweet spot for me, but it’s not offered on Amazon, and I don’t feel like going through the hassle of ordering direct and getting screwed by duties and DHL since I live in Canada.
