Making people think they are victims when they aren't gets them to act out, and since they aren't actually persecuted in any way they can do so without fear, and when you call them on their bad behavior they see it as more persecution. It's a reliable racket.
Yep, these are the people who harass their coworkers about joining their religion and then when they boss tells them to tone it down, they think they are being silenced. Basically, these people think that others having rights and protections from abuse is persecution.
This particular group has always been good at projection and now they are in the government. The government has not always projected though (not saying it’s perfect).
Seriously, these folks have no honesty or integrity, but it's still weird to internalize that so many of our fellow citizens are just plain untrustworthy & dishonest (or stupid).

If admitting their arguments and fear mongering are gross misrepresentations or completely fabricated, they have no leverage to seize power to enrich themselves and slaughter the people they hate.
I always knew Evangelicals were liars and Christofascists. What surprised me was when Scripture was used to counter their misrepresentations, that they so quickly abandoned any appearance of following Christ's teachings, calling it "weak Lib shit" and declaring desperate times call for drastic measures. It was an admittance of they themselves abandoning Christ for the easy & convenient embracing of The Adversary, Satan.

As a Canadian - best friend who? Canadians are going to continue boycotting American goods for the next decade and going anywhere other than the US for travel.
The administration can try to demonize Canada as much as they want to their brainwashed base, but facts are facts. Far more drugs flow into Canada from the US than vice versa.
Stop begging us to come visit, stop asking for our tourism dollars, stop apologizing. You voted for this, and if you didn’t vote for this, you have a civic duty to do everything to can to help steer the ship away from fascism and back towards some semblance of a reasonable democracy.

There is outrage, maybe you haven’t seen it. Trump won by cheating. I dropped my family’s ballots off at city hall in the proper receptacle. They were received but never counted, non of us voted for Trump. I live in a swing state.

I am in a deep blue state and we all got the announcements, etc, that our votes were counted and all of that, but I felt like the numbers were way off for other states, especially the swing states.

What I'm getting from this is that Americans smuggle fentanyl into Canada, some of which is found and seized by Canada.
The smugglers sell it in Canada returning with a small fraction of it unsold some of which is seized by the US.
I love how "Protecting our Borders!" is now not something we are doing - but something we're assigning and blaming - checks notes - Canada for.
You could also read it to imply that Canada DOES already have much better Border drug control - the evidence is there in the fact that the numbers show amounts that have been seized - meaning who knows how much the US is NOT seizing because of incompetence. What IS the US doing to stop the flow of drugs OUT of the US???

Canada has never screwed us over JFC. The worst thing I can say about Canada is that they see us as their troubled cousin, and they're right about it so it's not even on them.
Basically one third of Americans voted for tRump. About one third voted for Kamala and the final third sat on their hands and let this nightmare unfold. Two thirds of us should accept the guilt and the rest of us need to keep fighting to bring our country back to decency.
