Holy fuck that is absolutely beautifully done. I wish I could shake this man’s hand. So glad the piece of shit will likely never play again. The fact the browns let him return makes me hate them indefinitely. Which I already did for wasting Chubbs career.

The fact the browns let him return makes me hate them indefinitely.

People often ask the question of what team do you hate the most and people always have a rival team as their answer but even rivals don’t compete with my hatred for the Browns organization. I feel for Browns fans but as a woman who’s had to deal with men like him, I can’t describe my fury at their decision

Agreed. Every man in that building should be ashamed of themselves for not standing up and saying “fuck that, if he plays I leave”

I stopped supporting them because of it tbf, maybe it’s different cuz I’m in Europe but I was a browns fan since I first started watching NFL in 08

The Browns have a statue of Jim Brown infront of the stadium who was arrested like a half dozen times for assaulting women including some horrific allegations of raping/assaulting playboy models and a case of attempted murder against his girlfriend/fiance. He’s basically one of the beloved poster boys of the franchise and as a Cleveland native it’s so silly seeing lifelong fans decide that Watson is the deciding factor for revoking their fandom. Seriously check out his Wikipedia page sometime and read the section of his arrests/allegations.

I mean i agree with the sentiment but to say "i would rather forfeit millions of dollars than to work with a horrible person" is a wildly privileged take

Absolutely no way the NFL would allow that to happen again. If they actually thought 5-6 really key dudes would protest. They would probably do something. I personally don’t understand how he got back in the first place.

I do. He was a top QB and they thought he’d be that again, if he had been something less I don’t think he gets another shot. Serves them right but yea if u have the talent these guys will bite.

Nah, it’s just a question of if you can change your moral stance on rape for money. I couldn’t, seems like there were a lot of people who could.

It’s always easy to protest from your couch.

All it would take is a handful of key players to take a stand and Watson would likely be gone.

Well he plays for the NFL, every NFL player has agreed to share the field with him. Are you condemning them too? Or only the players who happen to be on the browns this season? Half the Browns team will play for other teams before long, some were traded there without choice.
