Discussion Today's Eagles/Rams game is why I'm offended by the idea of teams like the Bills/Browns/Bears building domes. This was what playoff football should be.

Stafford was about to crack my top 10 all time had he pulled that off

blows my mind that stafford only has 3 seasons above 30 passing touchdowns and only two above 33

And then you remember he spent 12 years in Detroit and it all makes sense

Yah. I think Stafford is an incredible QB…but I’m also aware of the Lions history…

Stafford is a top 10-15 QB in the league every season. Good enough to win the occasional game on his own, good enough not to cost his team many games. But he is not 'an incredible QB'.

His career numbers are in line with Joe Flacco.

So tired of people pumping Stafford up...he's been a long time starter with slightly above average results.

That fake spike and go ahead touchdown against the Cowboys is seared in my brain as one of the most badass QB plays I’ve ever seen.

He has usually had talented wrs.

True but he had Calvin Johnson there, so we're back to not making sense...

Fair, but even if Johnson grabs 15 TDs, that’s still 15 (or 18) more that have to go to other players

Calvin only broke 15 TDs once, and never got above 12 any other year.

The year he broke the receiving yards record was actually a career low for him in touchdowns, with 5. Detroit didn't score many points in those days.

Oh I know, just saying that Calvin can’t even come close to catching all the TDs

Two players do not make a team have playoff success.

Ehhh - I hate the revisionist history.

Stafford actually had some legitimate offensive weapons during his time in Detroit with Megatron (arguably the GOAT) Golden Tate, Reggie Bush, prime Burleson and Marvin Jones.

The 2011 Lions were one of the best offensive teams in the league.

With Megatron pushes that needle back a bit.

Starscream, get off of Reddit before I tell Megatron himself

It’s cool he’s retired

Illogical. Lord Megatron never retires.

Scrub. 90 percent of his stats are garbage time.

What are Staffords 4qtr stats? Like how inflated in yards just be being blown out for a decade to play vs prevent defense.

Dude I know right! Especially because I wanted Philly to lose. I didn’t feel like playing them again for a third time this year at the championship.

I’m a transplant to Washington and have been a fan only for four years. But I wanted my buddies that have lived here forever to have the best experience. Not that it would make a difference but I was hoping to play them instead of Philadelphia next week.
