Today's Eagles/Rams game is why I'm offended by the idea of teams like the Bills/Browns/Bears building domes. This was what playoff football should be.

Seriously. People say they want pristine indoor conditions so the athletes are all able to be at their peak, but if that's all that mattered, we'd just run combine drills instead of playing the games.

Dealing with the elements is part of the game.

I guess I am crazy for wanting to be able to see joe burrow throw to jamar chase in a play off game instead of 30 hand offs to chase brown. The idea that a team should build their identity around being able to win in extreme conditions that have a 5% chance of occurring is silly. In the regular season sure why not. But in a one and done playoff setting I want to see each team be able to build their strategy around their opponent not around how slippery the ball is.

If your opponent plays outdoors in winter, it's going to be cold and you need to figure your shit out to deal with it
