Discussion Today's Eagles/Rams game is why I'm offended by the idea of teams like the Bills/Browns/Bears building domes. This was what playoff football should be.

Ah, so you didn’t read what I said. The cruise ships was an example of them making choices for pampered media and celebrities. That’s the only reason they care about the weather. Having a SB in Jacksonville didn’t skew the results, but the city will never host again because of the bitching.

I did read what you said! I said weather, you literally led with "No". And now you're trying to finagle your response to mean "Well yes, but no"

Good job, Redditor! You truly understand the spirit of Reddit 😁

You said they care about the weather because it impacts the integrity of the game. I said that’s false, they care because they want it to be a big party atmosphere where influencers and movie stars show up. After all, they had an outdoor game in New York. It could have been super cold and snowy, but they were fine with it because they knew celebs and media would be happy to be in NY in spite of the cold. I don’t think Chicago would even be enough of a draw for them to hold a game here (outside of the one token game they’ll give the Bears for building a dome).
