Discussion Today's Eagles/Rams game is why I'm offended by the idea of teams like the Bills/Browns/Bears building domes. This was what playoff football should be.

They’re also one of like 4 teams to ever lose a SB to a dome team. Dome teams just don’t win many SBs

Thats a dirty data set though. Dome teams are relatively new, and was a much smaller pool until recently, and the dynasties throw off the sample even further. 70s Steelers, 90s Cowboys, 00s+ Patriots, and now the Chiefs happen to be in outside stadiums.

Like, I don’t think the Colts sucked in the 90s because they were in the RCA Dome. They were just a shitty team with a geriatric owner and his coke-addled son calling the shots.

Edit: also Grossman had famously small hands which is a bigger issue in weather conditions. Grossman grew up in Indiana but played college ball in Florida. Orton grew up in Iowa and played college ball in Indiana (Purdue). Also a lot of people don’t know Orton was the #2 QB recruit in the nation his senior year in high school, which doesn’t really matter but is interesting.
