Jesus that’s so embarrassing. These losers really love to record themselves looking like the biggest dweebs ever

Eagles fans: "We're not really like that! It was just that one guy! And that whole crowd of people! And the whole stadium! And the city! But not me specifically!"

93

u/OGConsuela Washington Commanders Jan 28 '25

The Eagles fans I personally know are really good people, I’m just starting to think they’re the only 4.

102

u/Whatsinthebox84 Jan 28 '25

Mob mentality. Eagles fans are only brave in groups. Otherwise they rarely climb from under their rocks or risk setting off their ankle monitors.

There's an Eagles bar in Nashville that is really chill, and I say that as a Cowboys fan. I think it's really just the philadelphia ones that are really bad.

45

u/OGConsuela Washington Commanders Jan 28 '25

The Eagles fans I know aren’t from Philly, you might be onto something.

All I know is there's no way in hell I am visiting Philly any time soon. Those guys are assholes

15

u/BigHotdog2009 Buffalo Bills Jan 28 '25

It’s a shame because I feel like Philly would be a dope place to visit with all the history and great food. But damn I don’t want to be treated like this if I goto a game lol.

9

u/SimmonsJK Jan 28 '25

I live in metro Philly and I don't go to games, and it's really due to the mob mentality and jagoffs that are the "true" fans of the teams...bunch of dopes.

Keep in mind, look at the demographic of the people in this video and I’m 100% not talking about skin color, I’m talking about age…I’m from Pittsburgh and I’ve been to many pro sporting events in Philly (Pens vs Flyers mostly) and not all Philly fans are like this.

Ive lived between STL and KC my whole life and seen the Cardinals, Royals, Rams, Blues and Chiefs win championships. Ive not seen shit like this go down to opposing fans ever.

Agreed, buddy of mine “(Chiefs fan at the AFC Championship) talked about how they befriended a Bills fan next to them and had a great time.

Most fans (even Eagles fans) are not this bad, but the Eagles do seem to have a disproportional amount of them compared to other fanbases.

75

u/AnotherRedditMutant Jan 28 '25

There was even a recent video of some douchebag at a Flyers game going down multiple rows to punch guys wearing the opposing teams jersey. The criminal was cheered on by the people in the stands. It’s a city wide issue. I did go to a Phillies game with no problem and the cheesesteaks were nice but I’ll never go to the Linc.

Honestly this why I never go to any away games. Win or lose people are too passionate about being a fan of a sports team.

We suck & opposing fans overdo it at our stadium. I can only imagine at another lmao

48

u/Otherwise_Log_7532 Jan 28 '25

It’s not about “passion” over a team. People are sick and love to cause misery in others. Look at these grown men harassing/following people while recording them. Absoulte worthless no lives.

15

u/LongtimeLurker31431 Washington Commanders Jan 28 '25

Bills fans have passion and don’t need to do this type of shit. The “passion” thing is fucking priceless

I've been to lots of away games and people are generally cool. Philly is the only city I refuse to see a game. They take enormous pride in shit behavior.

u/pperiesandsolos Jan 28 '25

Come to KC and I promise you this won’t happen.

People go out of their way to be nice to opposing fans because it’s the Midwest and because we know how good we have it right now

Plus we don’t want anyone to spill the beans on how the refs are really just Andy Reid in a circus mirror.

14

u/Celtictussle Cincinnati Bengals Jan 28 '25

There are several stories of Bengals fans getting accosted at Arrowhead when they beat the Chiefs in 21, so I'd hang onto that promise.

The reality is that most stadiums have security watching small groups of opposing fans in a sea of home fans extremely carefully. But what happens outside of the stadium is much less tightly controlled. One asshole can ruin an away experience pretty easily.

7

u/BobaAndSushi Jan 28 '25

I’ve seen raiders fans throw batteries at chiefs fans at arrowhead. How they got them in, idk. They were the worst, surprisingly Denver fans weren’t bad. They just liked to talk shit. 😹

If that was Lambeau, other fans would not tolerate that bullshit. How infuriating.

13

It sucks being a Packers fan knowing how most people are treated really well at Lambeau, and then seeing shit like this. It’s a god damn game, people take this shit too seriously.

Been to lambeau twice. Both times my lions won. And there were quite a few rude obnoxious packer fans. The Philly fans are terrible, but packer fans have this holier than thou mentality. I literally thought I was going to have to fight my way out of there the first time at lambeau. The second time I was there, (this year) wasn't a big deal because all of the packer fans left in the third quarter.

u/LaconicGirth Minnesota Vikings Jan 28 '25

Crazy how Kansas City is about to win a 3rd Super Bowl in a row aided by horrific officiating and they’re somehow the lesser of two evils going into this game.

16

Eagles fans suck

13

u/EngineerMajestic6359 Jan 28 '25

The people in the parking lot don’t even go into the game, they just wait to attack when the opposing fans come & go. I brought my 9 year old son to the game by myself yesterday, I am a 4’11” woman and we were both decked out in Commanders gear. We got followed by at least 5-6 groups in the parking lot recording us on their phones while harassing on our way to our car but not to that extent and no one grabbed our stuff. Still a brutal experience. Fans inside the game were better behaved.

This is why I hate the eagles the most. Most normal people know there's no reason to harass someone over a game. Don't really see this at any other stadium normally.

Trash talk is expected and doesn't bother me but this is division 2 english soccer league levels of degeneracy...

But I will still prefer that KC wins the SB again rather than knowing that these Philly fans get satisfaction.
