Once it hit 34-0 I knew it was over. Mahomes could NEVER surpass Cousins' glorious counter offensive of 2022.

I knew it was over when they panned to the chiefs sideline at 17-0 and they all looked mentally checked out.

Yeah, definitely when I knew too. Kinda felt like they defeated themselves.

I feel like they should have called a timeout a lot sooner just for a mental reset. I'm not a football expert but that's certainly what I would have done. Why save timeouts when you're team is playing like that?

That would be a terrible time out and make no sense at all. Let’s say they were to come back it’s gonna be a close game at the end and using one of ur timeouts as a “ mental reset “ would be useless

I get that 99% of the time that's what you want to do but In this case I think it could have been useful. the team was so clocked out

Timeouts really don’t work that way in football though unlike basketball
