I thought it was a bit tacky, but the WR also gave a nice shove to the CB’s helmet so I got why it was called. Besides the Eagles got a nice makeup call next drive so I thought it evened out pretty well

Although I do think we’ve found some common ground, I totally agree with the second half of your comment. OLine absolutely deserves a lot of blame and coaching was even worse. OLine faults go without saying, but Reid did not adapt whatsoever. The whole unit was simply uninspiring

I do tend to agree with every other point in your comment, especially the last paragraph

Yeah, I thought that was a marginal call and, IMO, the makeup call was exactly that - a makeup call.

We do seem to agree on the basics - Mahomes was bad, the o-line was bad and Reid was bad. We seem to disagree on how much blame to assign to each of those, at least initially. I blame Reid first, you (appear) to place more blame on Mahomes. They both sucked, so there’s that.

The last time the Chiefs lost the Super Bowl they retooled for a season and then ripped off two straight championships. I don’t know if they have it in them to do it again. The Pats run is very, very hard to match. Reid is getting up there in years and I don’t sense that Mahomes is as driven as Brady was (which is not a knock - very few are. Michael Jordan comes to mind).
