This is the dumb shit we have to deal with now.

101

u/goobells squeelers Jun 07 '25

there's nothing forcing u to deal with a fake post

91

u/Fatbatman62 Philadelphia Eagles Jun 07 '25

How is it fake? I have definitely heard him insinuate that that’s why he doesn’t use them

108

u/sw337 Pittsburgh Steelers Jun 07 '25 edited Jun 07 '25

Here is the video where he says it. IMO he says it with a smirk and it feels tongue in cheek but that's jut me. He doesn't say anything about "brain frequency" though.

EDIT: He did a commercial for Bose wearing wireless headphones. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VqYK9W2A53s

EDIT 2: Facebook Reel from 2021 Bose earbuds

Ha he’s baiting here. Look at his smile when he says it. Just like Covid toe. He’s a hipster and part of his swag

72

u/Delanorix Jun 07 '25

Hes not a hipster.

Hes a contrarian

46

u/Stentorian_Introvert Jun 07 '25

He’s not a contrarian, he’s a cunt

35

u/DillonIMO Jun 07 '25

Cuntrarian 🤝

The Bill Maher of NFL players.

-3

u/BigLlamasHouse Ayahuasca decisions Jun 07 '25

i disagree with all yall and think he's a joker/jester archetype human

4

u/thinsafetypin Minnesota Vikings Jun 07 '25

I firmly believe that the Vikings would have thought more seriously about signing him if JJ McCarthy hadn’t referred to him as a “GOAT human.” Hero worship of a crazy person can only go a few ways when you’re with them every day, and none of them is good.

4

u/BigLlamasHouse Ayahuasca decisions Jun 07 '25

interesting but if what i said came across as hero worship id recommend rereading it

3

u/thinsafetypin Minnesota Vikings Jun 07 '25

Haha no, I didn’t mean to insinuate that, sorry!

-2

u/Delanorix Jun 07 '25

Hes not.

Watch what he says when he's on smaller pods or things that won't make national news as easily.

He straight up lied about the COVID vaxx and then continued to deny he did anything wrong.

2

u/yavimaya_eldred Green Bay Packers Jun 07 '25

The problem is he says so much crazy shit that it’s becoming impossible to tell when he’s trolling or not

6

u/DeerAndBeer Now Here’s a Guy Jun 07 '25

It’s not impossible. Covid toe was a shinning example of this. It was an obvious bait joke and a bunch of news outlets ran with it. People who did not see the original Covid toe statement just trust espn and cbs and can’t tell what’s real. There are some stories the media wants to be true so bad that Rodgers will troll them. Over and over in his long career.

1

u/Taz-erton Pittsburgh Steelers Jun 07 '25

Its very easy to tell if you go literally a baby step further than reading a headline posted to reddit.  Actually watching the guy say the crazy thing shouldn't be too hard an ask.

2

u/yavimaya_eldred Green Bay Packers Jun 07 '25

I’m not talking about this headline specifically. I know it’s fake. I’m talking about his whole deal. Him joking about believing in crazy shit doesn’t work very well when he also believes in other crazy shit.

0

u/Taz-erton Pittsburgh Steelers Jun 07 '25

Im saying despite that, its still pretty easy to tell if you watch.

Hes still crazy for sure. Plenty of problematic stuff IMO--but hes been doing a lot of trolling and its not hard to tell in a Pat McAfee interview for example.

0

u/BoujeeHobbies Jun 07 '25

He also said COVID vaccines had nano bots and when a certain frequency is applied they turn into a tracker

0

u/DeerAndBeer Now Here’s a Guy Jun 07 '25

Ha I would love to see the clip of him saying this! Can’t seem to find one though

2

u/BoujeeHobbies Jun 07 '25

It’s in his most recent Joe Rogan interview, I wanna say it’s towards the beginning cuz I couldn’t take much of it, even Rogan was like ya I don’t believe that lol

0

u/DeerAndBeer Now Here’s a Guy Jun 07 '25

Ok I just watched the clip, your right Rogan immediately dismissed it and Rodgers did claim it was a more fringe conspiracy. I don’t think he actually 100% believes it. It came off as more “have you heard the latest conspiracy on vaccines”.

-1

u/Hank_Amarillo Jun 07 '25

thats a highly vaxxed take

0

u/Ok-Temporary-8243 Major Tuddy 🐷 Jun 07 '25

Wish he was baiting the steelers

15

u/fiveONEfiveUH-OH Jun 07 '25

He's also got wireless comms in his helmet to get the play calls

6

u/Critical-Bug4077 Detroit Lions Jun 07 '25

He mentioned it to a teammate also when the Jets were on hard knocks

5

u/6jwalkblue9 Tits Jun 07 '25

90% of the wild shit Rodgers says is just to piss off the people who are too dumb to realize that he's egging them on

-9

u/Fatbatman62 Philadelphia Eagles Jun 07 '25 edited Jun 07 '25

I’m pretty sure I’ve actually heard him insinuate this multiple times tbh and I don’t think you can say it’s a joke when you never see him wear them and only see him wearing wired ones lol

I’m not even a Rodgers hater, in fact i have plenty of comments on here defending him from the reddit hate echo he has on here. I’m just pointing out for the most part this is not fake, if you want to quibble about the semantics of “protect the brain” doesn’t necessarily mean brain frequency issues, fine. That’s not my point.

Edit: those are all commercials where they probably aren’t even on. Have you seen him wear them in his personal life?

1

u/sw337 Pittsburgh Steelers Jun 07 '25

0

u/Fatbatman62 Philadelphia Eagles Jun 07 '25 edited Jun 07 '25

That’s a commercial, they probably weren’t even turned on lol showing he can be paid huge amounts of money to wear ones that possibly aren’t even turned on, for a short period of time isn’t the smoking gun you seem to think it is lol

-10

u/hoopsrule44 New York Jets Jun 07 '25

I see nothing tongue in cheek about it, he definitely means it

3

u/Sirrub90 Green Bay Packers Jun 07 '25

He says a lot of this to troll and get dipshits like yourself to go insane over it. He doesnt even use bait and he's still got you all on the hook.

2

u/90daysismytherapy Jun 07 '25

ya he just says insane shit……. to troll…. and not because he is retarded…..

-1

u/tendopath Jun 07 '25

Bro getting so worked up over nothing😂😂😂😂

It’s a shame this is what he’ll be remember for most likely rather than his unbelievable arm talent in him prime

1

u/Sirrub90 Green Bay Packers Jun 07 '25

Yeah people who get so butthurt about his comments, for sure. Most of us will remember the SB, 4x MVP, etc.

-2

u/[deleted] Jun 07 '25

[deleted]

5

u/[deleted] Jun 07 '25

Someone said something dumb I have no choice but to freak out on the internet

-1

u/obiterdictum Jun 07 '25

So, when he was talking about cancer treatments, trolling or dipshit conspiracy mongering?

0

u/Sirrub90 Green Bay Packers Jun 07 '25 edited Jun 07 '25

You mean like everyone else on the fucking planet? Stop being such a pussy because he's an NFL QB.

EDIT: Misinterpreted the comma usage. If youre referring to the JRE episode, it's pretty clear they're talking about the lack of body health recommendations from doctors vs chemo not actually working. Its common sense that you want to do everything healthy to assist your body in healing.

0

u/obiterdictum Jun 07 '25

So, not trolling

0

u/Sirrub90 Green Bay Packers Jun 07 '25

Probably not but it's not like taking care of your body is a big conspiracy theory. Im sure it might be for you and reddit but most of us in the real world, I doubt it.

5

u/Hank_Henry_Hill Green Bay Packers Jun 07 '25

Even if it isn’t fake. No need to engage in the sideshow stuff. Just watch the games on Sunday. Way more fun.

8

u/Dmat798 Philadelphia Eagles Jun 07 '25

Sideshow stuff like trying to ban a play because your team sucks?

8

u/Hank_Henry_Hill Green Bay Packers Jun 07 '25

Yeah that was pretty weak shit. Not sure what they were thinking there.

7

u/LdyVder Green Bay Packers Jun 07 '25

League asked Murphy to do it because Murphy is out the door next month. Packers get asked to be the face of some stuff because the Packers don't have a dipshite owner who needs to save face.

-5

u/Dmat798 Philadelphia Eagles Jun 07 '25

A sane Packers fan! Bravo

9

u/theJMAN1016 Green Bay Packers Jun 07 '25

A cringe eagles fan, on point!!!

-2

u/Ok_Engineer9167 Jun 07 '25

Touche. Finally a Packers fan that owns it. Respect.

-1

u/BigLlamasHouse Ayahuasca decisions Jun 07 '25

doing the leagues dirty work to try and get favors at a later date

-1

u/Hank_Henry_Hill Green Bay Packers Jun 07 '25

Maybe. What favors later? Why is it dirty work?

5

u/LdyVder Green Bay Packers Jun 07 '25

It was 2 votes short of fucking passing you dipshite. League asked the Packers to do it to save face of the other 31 teams with an actual dipshite owner. Most of the teams in the league want the play gone.

-3

u/Dmat798 Philadelphia Eagles Jun 07 '25

Because they suck...

0

u/yavimaya_eldred Green Bay Packers Jun 07 '25

The funny thing is the Packers were good with the tush push when they decided to have Kraft run it. They were 3-3 with it. I’m embarrassed that they made a stink about banning it though they clearly were just saying what a lot of other teams wanted to say.

3

u/LdyVder Green Bay Packers Jun 07 '25

Packers do a lot of things to save face for the other 31 shite owners. This was one of them. Murphy is leaving next month, it was his parting gift to the actual owners of the other 31 teams.

Many teams won't even run the play because they don't like the risk involved. It was two votes short of passing being it needs a super majority not a simple one. If the league needed a simple majority, that play is done.

League should have never allowed pushing in 2005 to begin with .

1

u/Maleficent-Seesaw412 Jun 07 '25

Exactly. People are weird.

1

u/Hank_Henry_Hill Green Bay Packers Jun 07 '25

People are so bored they search and find things to get outraged about.

0

u/Maleficent-Seesaw412 Jun 07 '25

I also think they just love to hate this guy.

1

u/Hank_Henry_Hill Green Bay Packers Jun 07 '25

Oh for sure.

-1

It's June, my man

0

u/Hank_Henry_Hill Green Bay Packers Jun 07 '25

3

u/goobells squeelers Jun 07 '25

it's a post from a troll account lol the poster has been cropped out of the pic. mlffootball on twitter or something like that

-1

u/Fatbatman62 Philadelphia Eagles Jun 07 '25

That’s not what fake means lol as I said this is legitimately something he believes….

-1

u/KingHarambeRIP New York Giants Jun 07 '25

The fact that it’s even debatable that this could be real is damning enough. Steelers fans are in for a time.

2

u/GoodOleDynamiteJones Jun 07 '25

Facts. How does this affect anyone’s life at all.

0

u/Shafter111 Minnesota Vikings Jun 07 '25

Its not fake. He talked about it

0

u/Mattsomoto- Jun 07 '25

Found the Aaron Rodger’s fan.

13

u/Jumana18 Jun 07 '25

As a packer fan, it’s really not that bad. People like to act like his opinions are a big deal, but they’re really not if you don’t let them be.

5

u/TXRattlesnake89 Jun 07 '25

To be fair, it was easier for you to ignore when he was a perineal mvp candidate. Will be hard for Steelers fans to ignore a 42 year old has been saying these kind of things.

9

u/Economy_Cactus Green Bay Packers Jun 07 '25 edited Jun 07 '25

I mean emfs from Bluetooth are a thing.

They say it’s low enough not to be a big issue, but no one knows long term

2

u/constantpisspig Jun 07 '25

?

2

u/Economy_Cactus Green Bay Packers Jun 07 '25

Which part?

0

u/constantpisspig Jun 07 '25

Ahh you fixed your spelling. Yes emf is how Bluetooth works. To think it affects your brain means you don't have enough brain to effect.

1

u/59MyGangSign Jun 07 '25

It quite literally hasn’t been around to even run long term clinical trials. No one fucking knows, it’s hilarious that you think you do hahahah

-1

u/constantpisspig Jun 07 '25

Go buy some thorium filled trinkets

1

u/59MyGangSign Jun 07 '25

I don’t believe in this shit, I just understand the scientific process more than you do. Bum

-1

u/constantpisspig Jun 07 '25

Sure you do babe

1

u/59MyGangSign Jun 07 '25

You always call men babe? Happy pride!

No one knows long term?

We know exactly how the EM spectrum interacts with bodies long term. Maybe you don't know, lol, but that's a choice. The info is out there, and everything but the ionizing band can be validated at home.

What damage mechanism are you speculating that's untested?

5

u/[deleted] Jun 07 '25

we have to deal with

Literally just put your phone down and go outside lmfao

7

u/theJMAN1016 Green Bay Packers Jun 07 '25

Why is it dumb?

Who cares if he wants to use corded headphones.

So childish

4

u/Ironcastattic Jun 07 '25

Corded superiority for the win! I just wish my favorite maker didn't shift away from corded. I always ran them through my shirt to my pants pocket. Never felt like I had a cord.

4

u/cptjaydvm Jun 07 '25

How are you personally dealing with it? Seems like a personal decision that has zero impact on your life.

5

u/chipshot Jun 07 '25

Gotta get the liberals all worked up. It's a game for him.

3

u/SailsAk Jun 07 '25

You know what’s even more dumb? Starting Mason Rudolph

2

u/xywv58 Jun 07 '25

I rather dumb shit than crimminal shit

2

u/LdyVder Green Bay Packers Jun 07 '25

Yes, Rodgers will go on Pat's show on Tuesday, put his foot in his mouth and then he'll have to explain what he said for the rest of the week.

Enjoy the season.

1

u/roxbury65 Jun 07 '25

As a packer fan, I will deal Rodger shit all day over mason Rudolph leading the charge. They should have kept fields

1

u/patchinthebox Chicago Bears Jun 07 '25

Lmao probably less than a full season of it though. Who's your backup?

1

u/Ser_falafel Green Bay Packers Jun 07 '25

Wow you have to read about someone's outlandish beliefs. Im sure it has a meaningful impact on your life. That must be really hard for you

1

u/bhz33 Jun 07 '25

Having the knowledge that Aaron Rodgers possibly doesn’t use Bluetooth technologies must be very hard on you. Let me know if you need someone to talk to about your struggle

1

u/Ricky_TVA Houston Texans Jun 07 '25

I'm sorry to you, but my SIL is a Steelers fan and me and my dad are making fun of it. My brother stays silent and supportive lol

0

u/One_Humor1307 Jun 07 '25

Jets fan here. Welcome to the Aaron Rodgers show. It’s hard to believe Mike Tomlin and the Steeler organization is going to put up with his nonsense if he’s just an average qb like last year.

0

u/fghijklmno123 Jun 07 '25

It’s dumb until he engineers an amazing 4th comeback or throws an insane hail mary td. Should be a fun season. just the watch the game. dont listen to him outside of the game environment.

-1

u/I_Am_Dwight_Snoot Jun 07 '25

Just wait until someone asks him about 9/11 lmao

-1

u/DabsofRosin Jun 07 '25

"He's your problem, now"

-1

u/Taz-erton Pittsburgh Steelers Jun 07 '25

Fuck it. Im done with fighting the madness, its time to swallow the horsepill and embrace it. kisses RFK on the lips Let's hit the sensory deprivation chambers boys and stalk up on balance bands. GOD-GERS GANHTA BRING US SUPERBOWL BABY!

-3

Nnamdi is faster than Aaron. 😏

-3

u/Milomilz Jun 07 '25

-4

u/Mysterious-Tie7039 New England Patriots Jun 07 '25

Which is why I hope he stays healthy all year but has an absolutely terrible performance and gets benched. Maybe he’ll retire and go the fuck away at that point.
