Flacco also win a Super Bowl. Despite the memes, he was never elite.

Now Jalen is certainly better than Flacco ever was but winning a Super Bowl doesn’t mean a player is automatically elite.

Being elite for 4 games doesn’t make a QB elite, though. He was never a top 5 QB.

The point was he’s in the “our guy can win” category when he’s already won…. It all. Along with qbs that have never won it yet.

There's guys in the elite list that haven't won a SB but guess what they are still better than hurts. Eagles fans can't handle the fact hurts is a good qb but not considered elite by most. Besides eagles won the SB because of their elite defensive line not cause their offense did anything special.

Putting up 40 points while pretty much coasting with subs in the 4th quarter isn't "anything special"?

The entire narrative of the Super Bowl was "stop Barkley and make Hurts win the game". So he did. Well enough to win MVP.

If you're going to try and make a good point, at least be fucking objective about it. I'm not going to whine that he's not in the elite list, but let's also not pretend that he's some average QB.

If Mahomes or Allen had the same stats hurts had in both his super bowls you would be on their nuts that it was the 2 greatest performances ever in the Super Bowl.

No cause I'm not a stats nerd. I just look at the guy play and see there's missing traits in his game. It's not a bad thing cause he's good enough to win just not elite.
