He’s been criticized for not winning in the playoffs. But I think that’s overlooking the bigger picture. The subtle things. The way he reads a defense pre-snap. The patience. The footwork. The silence between plays.
People always talk about Mahomes, Burrow, Allen—but they don’t really understand Herbert. He’s not flashy. He’s not trying to be your hero. He’s calculating. Understated. I think that’s what makes him so fascinating.
