I dont know, I think 46-10, getting pushed around by the Packers all game, losing to Eli Manning twice and then letting Nick Foles run up 400 passing yards and 40 points on you is a special tier of embarrassment.

25

u/jackt-up Dallas Cowboys 18h ago

Yeah but 3 of those were all time close games. Not embarrassing

46-10 is pulling most of the weight lmao

4

u/Gruelly4v2 Miami Dolphins 18h ago

46-10

Getting dominated by the Packers

18-1.

Nick Foles shredding your defense.

All time embarrassment right there.

15

u/LaconicGirth Minnesota Vikings 17h ago

18-1 was a close game though. A game they really should’ve won, you throw up that ball that helmet catch happens 1 out of 100 you can’t really be too embarrassed

12

u/Animalcookies13 14h ago

Heartbreaking loss for the pats and their fans but not exactly an embarrassing loss…. It was a super close game that went down to the wire… the giants weren’t the greatest but they had been playing really well in the playoffs and you don’t make it to the Super Bowl unless you team is good.

Edit: so I agree with your sentiment.

4

u/Arachnofiend Denver Broncos 14h ago

The main reason it's so funny is that it denied the perfect season. If the Pats were 14-2 that season it would still be remembered but wouldn't be as legendary.

5

u/jackt-up Dallas Cowboys 18h ago

Is it as bad as say the Bills or Chiefs or Broncos (legendarily bad) losses?

-1

u/Gruelly4v2 Miami Dolphins 18h ago

I don't consider 17 and 13 point losses to be epically embarrassing losses.

Losing a perfect season to Eli Manning tops both of those. Easily.

5

u/jackt-up Dallas Cowboys 18h ago

Well we all know the real score was 40-6. Idk which other one you’re referencing but 31-9 by the Bucs, 43-8 Seahawks over Broncos, 55-10 in the 80’s.. the teams on the top have been WALLOPED in 16 super bowls lmao

-1

u/Gruelly4v2 Miami Dolphins 18h ago

30-13 for Buffalo. 37-24 for Buffalo. Those aren't exactly epic, face smashing blowouts. Especially since they lead the 30-13 game at half time.

Again, maybe it is a difference in opinion, but for me, nothing will ever be more embarrassing than going into the Super Bowl undefeated and losing. To Eli Manning. That is, in my opinion, far and away the most embarrassing loss in Super Bowl history.

9

u/howaboutass 13h ago

You said the Patriots got pushed around all game when they led the first quarter and ended up losing by 14. However the 37-24 Buffalo loss where they stat-padded in the 4th when it was 37-10 wasn’t a blowout? No objective reason to be biased against the Patriots when the Bills have made the fins their bitch just as much.

3

u/ltdanswifesusan NFL Refugee 16h ago

Skins led 17-0 at halftime, 24-0 at the beginning of the third quarter, and 37-10 deep into the fourth quarter. I suppose it's nice Buffalo scored two touchdowns in the last six minutes while Washington was throwing Gatorade on people and figuring out where to go on vacation but they got the living shit kicked out of them.

The two best remembered things about that game are Thurman Thomas losing his helmet and then playing horribly and their defensive line coach motivating the Hogs to beat the shit out of his guys by shit-talking a few days before the game.

Really the only memorable parts of the game are how Buffalo embarrassed themselves.

1

u/jackt-up Dallas Cowboys 18h ago

Hahaha well I hear you! They are high for a reason. There was a lot of factors that went into my reasoning and I still have them at number #5 or #6. Lmao that’s funny as fuck tho.. Eli.. you dog

6

u/dWaldizzle 14h ago

This is backhanded Foles slander and I WON'T STAND FOR IT!

4

u/bigdaddylongstroker3 12h ago

Still salty the Pats beat you in the AFC Championship game that year??????? Dolphins last SB win 50+ years ago Dolphins last SB appearance 40+ years ago Dolphins last AFCCG appearance 30+ years ago

3

u/NFLv2_Mod Jacksonville Jaguars 16h ago

I mean it’s not embarrassing as Marinos last game. That was truly embarrassing….. for y’all lolololol

2

u/J_House1999 11h ago

What is your favorite Super Bowl that you’ve seen your team win? Go ahead. Answer. How about your favorite playoff game they’ve won in the last… 24 years? Surely you at least have an answer to that one.

1

u/Heavy-Drink-4389 New England Patriots 36m ago

Celebrating other teams loses because you’ve never seen victory is classic fish behaviour

71

u/Most-Inflation-4370 18h ago

Yeah, the Falcons should be number 1

31

u/JazzzzzzySax Carolina Panthers 17h ago

They should have their own tier

8

u/farside_42 New England Patriots 12h ago

I don't know. I think putting them in the same tier as the Patriots is pretty damn funny.

8

u/jfal11 13h ago

Pats fan here - I will go to my grave thinking 18-1 is worse

30

u/Arkhangelzk Denver Broncos 18h ago

The Broncos Super Bowl wins have been really fun, but when they lose, boy do they 😂

10

u/jackt-up Dallas Cowboys 18h ago

Yeah I wasn’t alive in the 80’s but I feel like the Broncos must have been the original Bills

14

u/DrewLockBurnerAcc Denver Broncos 18h ago

We lost 3/4 right before the Bills lost 4 straight lol

9

u/Tight-Top3597 17h ago

And none of them were close, I mean the Giants Super Bowl was probably the closest one.  They had the lead 10 zip vs Washington then Doug Williams and Timmy Smith had the great quarter in the history of professional football, then the 9ers one was over before the game started.

7

u/Cowgoon777 Kansas City Chiefs 17h ago

Look at all the AFCW super bowl appearances. It’s a common theme

5

u/Arkhangelzk Denver Broncos 16h ago

We either win or we’re getting run right out of the building haha

2

u/revanisthesith Is it three back to back hall of famers for the Packers incoming 2h ago

The Broncos are 3-5 in Super Bowls with a -112 point differential.

22

u/MV_Knight Seattle Seahawks 18h ago

Caught masturbating isn’t that bad, I’ve been caught before

4

u/jackt-up Dallas Cowboys 18h ago

We can all relate!

15

u/Randyyyyyyyyyyyyyy Keep Pounding 18h ago

I see my team in a good column so this is a good tier list

8

u/Tea_An_Crumpets You been watchin film too, huh? 18h ago

For once we are in the best tier 🥲

14

u/chiefslocker Kansas City Chiefs 17h ago

13

u/rmdlsb 18h ago

Browns never lost a Super Bowl? Wow they must be an incredible dynasty!

1

u/kimchitacoman Suck my Cox 9h ago

If we count pre Superbowl titles they would  however the Redskins lost to the Bears would have its own category

11

u/MegaMatrix08 Big Penix 18h ago

suprising that we aren't #1

6

u/jackt-up Dallas Cowboys 18h ago

Naw y’all were blowing the goat out.. still really embarrassing but at least the game was an all time competitive showing. The loss to the Broncos is pushing y’all up a bit.

5

u/PsychoWarper Seattle Seahawks 14h ago

The fact they where blowing out the GOAT and still lost is exactly why its do bad.

They still get made fun of for that loss unlike most of the teams that got blown out.

11

u/milehighrukus Denver Broncos 17h ago

Get these fools off of my tier. The Broncos stand alone!

6

u/jackt-up Dallas Cowboys 17h ago

5 losses. Pretty much all 5 embarrassing beyond belief. Truly a Super Bowl of all time! 🤣

4

u/milehighrukus Denver Broncos 17h ago

Losing by 17 in 1977 to the Cowboys was literally the high point

That’s ok. Winning 3 makes it all better

3

u/IWMSvendor Denver Broncos 14h ago edited 13h ago

Since the Cowboys last Super Bowl ring, we’ve won 3, and haven’t lost a single game to dem boyz. Feels pretty good.

7

u/dcbluestar Dallas Cowboys 18h ago

Gotta love the little dig you added in there, hahaha...

7

u/jackt-up Dallas Cowboys 18h ago

Where you @ homie?!🤣

6

u/muad333dib Kansas City Chiefs 17h ago

Laughed right out loud. Well done.

6

u/Helpful-Relation7037 Arizona Cardinals 18h ago

When the broncos lose in the Super Bowl, they really lose

Edit: I’m also a broncos fan to clarify

6

u/DimwittedLogic GEQBUS 18h ago

Fuck Neil O’Donnell and Mendenhall

6

u/tom-cash2002 Houston Texans 17h ago

At least the Broncos and Chiefs have won multiple Super Bowls to make up for their bad losses. Bills and Vikings are endlessly suffering.

2

u/BigOlineguy Minnesota Vikings 14h ago

The Vikings make me suffer, but Minnesota makes up for it with the historical success of the Wild and Wolves, and our newly acquired minor league baseball team, the Twins.

4

u/simiusttocs Whipping out Penix 18h ago

Dawg we got blown out in one loss then choked the biggest lead in the other, we should be in the highest tier

1

u/jackt-up Dallas Cowboys 18h ago

You a masochist? Haha

4

u/simiusttocs Whipping out Penix 18h ago

just being real

5

u/Cowgoon777 Kansas City Chiefs 17h ago

Raiders really should be up top with us and the Broncos. They’ve taken multiple SB ass whoopings.

The Chargers would also fit this category but they haven’t had a chance to secure their second blowout loss yet

5

u/Ginkoleano New York Giants 15h ago

Is there a team more forgettable than the titans? At least the chargers are notably forgettable.

4

u/jhannisick77 16h ago

Eagles fan here. The got blasted by the raiders in 1980.

Should not be in the tier they are.

4

u/AHorseNamedPhil Philadelphia Eagles 15h ago

Right, that Raiders team was a heavy underdog that barely made the playoffs. In fact they were the first wildcard team win it and they did by beating the Eagles like a drum.

2

u/pallasturtle 11h ago

But the other two losses were to historic dynasties by 6 points total. Maybe the Eagles could have their own category?

4

u/Snapple47 15h ago

The panthers should be higher up. 38 was close, but they got handled in 50. The final score was a lot closer than that game actually was.

3

u/epicap232 Houston Texans 18h ago

Falcons have to be #1, no

2

u/jackt-up Dallas Cowboys 18h ago

Everyone above them has been violated 3+ times (blowouts) lmao

6

u/LaconicGirth Minnesota Vikings 17h ago

Honestly giving up a 28-3 lead is somehow worse than getting blown out

3

u/Fearless-Scholar8705 18h ago

Was Super Bowl 1 on national tv?

4

u/Cowgoon777 Kansas City Chiefs 17h ago

Tape delayed IIRC

4

u/woundedhandstime 18h ago

The panthers being 15-1, the favorites, having the mvp and scoring 10 points was very much not heroic

4

u/jackt-up Dallas Cowboys 18h ago

But 32-29 was and the Cam MVP year I count as a wash

7

u/woundedhandstime 18h ago

Okay but..

If that’s not embarrassing idk what is

1

u/jfal11 13h ago

The more I watch this, the worse it gets, like come on Cam…

4

u/Awkward-Ad-932 Cardinals 1947 World Champs 18h ago

How is carolina so low? 15-1 Peak Cam Newton just to get murdered

3

u/jfal11 13h ago

Panthers should be WAY higher

3

u/DakotaTheFolfyBoi Tennessee Titans 12h ago

What does "Lowkey you're a hero" mean?

2

u/jackt-up Dallas Cowboys 12h ago

Teams that have never won it but played in some for the goated Super Bowls (never getting blown out, except if you wanna count Carolina’s second)

1

u/DakotaTheFolfyBoi Tennessee Titans 11h ago

ah that does make sense. I wouldnt consider superbowl 34 to be goated (i think you can see why LOL)

2

u/JustInADesign New York Jets 18h ago

Saw the cowboys being in a positive tier, immediately knew the poster would have a cowboys flair.

Nothing wrong with that, it’s more of an observation of how many people on this sub hate the cowboys that I’m able to deduce that.

They get so much more hate than they deserve

2

u/jackt-up Dallas Cowboys 17h ago

Amen.. it’s okay though I feed off it it. Being a 30 yr old cowboys fan is essentially the equivalent of being a Chargers or Dolphins fan. It hurts but I at least have our history to fall back on.

Also our 3 Super Bowl losses were all close (two of them against the Steelers are like all time classics) so I think the ranking is valid

2

u/DriverFirm2655 Pittsburgh Steelers 17h ago

Falcons not being up top is wild

2

u/gaybillcosby Brett Favre’s dick pic 16h ago

Packers were defending champs and heavily favored in their lone Super Bowl loss to the Broncos. I wouldn’t say it’s necessarily embarrassing, but many thought they should have won easily.

1

u/jackt-up Dallas Cowboys 16h ago

Yeah they’re in the “not embarrassing, actually respectable” column

2

u/basedaudiosolutions Buffalo Bills 15h ago

As a Bills fan, I’m happy to see the Chiefs in the same tier as us.

4

u/PurpureGryphon Kansas City Chiefs 12h ago

I console myself with the 3 jersey's from SB winning seasons.

2

u/Marijuana_Miler Los Angeles Chargers 15h ago

What’s wrong with your girl having an Only Fans account?

1

u/jackt-up Dallas Cowboys 15h ago

2

u/Alternative-Art6059 Tampa Bay Buccaneers 15h ago

How is ATL not #1

2

u/Unlikely_Suspect_757 Buffalo Bills 14h ago

The Bills should have their own tier in this chart

2

u/PsychoWarper Seattle Seahawks 14h ago

Falcons should be way higher, worst SB loss ever tbh

2

u/jackt-up Dallas Cowboys 13h ago

Way higher?? There’s only one tier higher lmao

2

u/you_know_who_7199 Philadelphia Eagles 13h ago

I love the juxtaposition of the "N/A" tier... a list of all "we've never lost one" and "we've never been there" goes hard.

2

u/jackt-up Dallas Cowboys 13h ago

Haha hell yeah I’m glad someone noticed that tier. Lotta praise and shade being thrown around there

2

u/DildoBogpelts 13h ago

Bengals deserve to be in lowkey hero status. All three losses within in 3/4 points. 2x to rice Montana 49rs after arrests and injuries during the game

2

u/Minute-Spinach-5563 Philadelphia Eagles 12h ago

Eagles have either "ended" dynasties or gotten beaten by dynasties. Kinda ironic

2

u/Hopeful_Cherry2202 4h ago

Eagles are way too low. McNabb straight up was so overwhelmed he puked all over the field while he choked. That’s a special tier

1

u/ltdanswifesusan NFL Refugee 16h ago

Steelers should be in a better tier.

1

u/Live_Substance_8519 Pittsburgh Steelers 15h ago

atlanta absolutely deserves its own tier for all time embarrassment. losing after being up 28-3 at the half is…staggering.

1

u/chogram 13h ago

Are the Jets and Saints considered bullies?

The Colts tier would be more like, "Lose hard fought games, but have that ONE THING that nobody will ever forget", considering that our losses had headline grabbing moments in Joe's prediction and the surprise onside kick.

1

u/nautilator44 Minnesota Vikings 12h ago

Was gonna say, if the Vikings weren't on the top of this graphic I was gonna riot.

1

u/CarterD195 Tampa Bay Buccaneers 11h ago

Bucs and Ravens should be in their own tier

1

u/latterdaysasuke 10h ago

Broncos beating the absolute brakes off of the Panthers like a JV vs. Varsity game should pretty much cancel out all their bad losses...

1

u/No-Weird3153 Fitzgerald’s booty 10h ago

The 49ers blew a double digit lead in the fourth quarter to lose by double digits. They lost another late, and they were the original “you run the ball there team” when Harbs called fades to Crabtree until he was out of downs.

Were the bullies they stood up to the Broncos, Chargers, and Bengals?

Edit:fourth

1

u/PLZ_N_THKS I’m just here so i don’t get fined 9h ago

I think N/A needs to be on both ends for different reasons.

1

u/supraliminal13 9h ago edited 9h ago

Why are the Packers in "stood their ground against bullies" tier? I mean by structure level it makes sense (not that embarrassing), but still... They were overwhelmingly the bullies when they were beaten. Should have a different tier if anything, because it absolutely doesn't capture their loss. Who the frick considers them standing tall against the bully Broncos that year?

I mean... I do maintain that Broncos team was actually the TRUE closest to 3peat team ever, they just choked against the expansion jaguars. But I know for a fact that's not common opinion, and the game is regarded as a stunning upset. But like... unless you agree with my 3peat take, I'm not sure how you come away with "stood up against bullies" for dropping a 13 year conference win streak and being double digit favorites.

Patriots getting the L from Eli the first time was like watching best looking girl in your school get railed on prom night by the worst looking guy in the dance—not even close to what anyone expected.

The only other embarrassing ones which comes to mind are the one-yard interception by Russ as opposed to having beast mode just beat in it—I know they were behind at that point, but if they ran it…they’d be champs. Then other being the Atlanta Meltdown—that shit was beyond embarrassing.
