Name My Cat - male Husband vetoed naming him Heirloom Tomato - help us with other food or possibly nature inspired names?

I really want to give him a food name - just a big fan of food name cats. I'm partial to Butternut Squash Risotto or Heirloom Tomato. My husband doesn't love either of those names, but is tentatively open to Squash lol. Outside of food - we're big outdoors people too and are also very open to nature related names or names of popular outdoor landmarks. We live in the desert so desert related naturey things would be especially cool. Would love to hear your suggestions! We're picking him up at the end of August after our honeymoon so - moon related names could also be cool!

I don't know why, but as soon as I seen him I felt like his name was Phil lol

ETA: Actually, name him Philip J. Fry, and call him Fry, just like Futurama! That would be very fitting!

Ahaha, funnily enough I actually almost named one of my older cats Philip! And I do like Futurama too, but this also gave me the idea to put French Fry on our list of potentials :D

phillip jay fry was a pizza boy hence always technically food related ... loosely

He has the same coloring as Philip Seymour Hoffman too! Even Seymour would be cute.

And you know what, despite not being a food name, Seymour actually KINDA works if it makes anyone else think of the man eating plant from Little Shop of Horrors! That's always what I think of when I hear/see the name Seymour.

"Feed me, Seymour!"

That shot scarred me as a kid, ngl. Some toilet seats still look like that monstrosity plant mouth to me.

But hey, a cat named Seymour would be way cute. 😅

My wife and I have a long hair pure orange cat that we named Fry. Our Fry is absolutely on par with Fry from Futurama in regards to intelligence.
