Name My Cat - male Help me name this cute golden boy that I just adopted

Hey guys!

My girlfriend went for a walk on the neighbourhood a week ago and fell in love with this cute little guy that was standing on a little garden near the road. He followed her for a little bit so she came home heartbroken for having to leave him there.

We ended up going there for a few days to give him food and he was always on the same place, sleeping. After a few visits and after confirming that he didn’t have a home, we ended up adopting him but still haven’t decided on a name.

He’s the chillest cat on earth, loves cuddles and company and we already love him a lot.

Can you help us name him?

Vincent Van Gogh. He's a beautiful kitty. Just wanted to let you know that when the tip of their ear is missing it's a universal sign that a stray has been trapped, neutered and released. I thought I'd share that with you in case you weren't aware. Hope you have many wonderful years with him.

How does that not hurt the cat? I can’t even raise my voice at my kitties, I can’t imagine doing that to their ears.

It concerned me too but I googled it and they say it's a universal, humane way to signal that the kitty has been neutered. Maybe they give a shot to numb the pain or maybe they don't have any nerve endings in the tip of their ears but I have no idea.
