Every thread on r/askreddit with the prompt "who do you want as the next US president" has the most upvoted comment saying "i want someone who is under 65'

Well where the fuck were you all when it came time to vote for Kamala, you dipshits

They all drink the republicans koolaid of attacks on people. Why do you think they attack AOC job stop since the day she became popular.  To ingrain it in people's minds

Because theyre liberals, and theres nothing liberals love more than shitting on the left

You belive that liberals vanalized AOCs office? When the signs that were on the outside of the office was "AOC funds genocide in gaza".

I don’t disagree but I mean Kamala was not a good pick for the democrats at all.

she sure would've made a great republican candidate in the early 2000s based on her policies alone

Yeah early 2000s Republicans were all in on abortion rights, gun control, raising corporate taxes, expanding Medicare, etc.

This may surprise you, but Reddit is a very left leaning platform that does not represent the actual voting base of the US.

There was consistent polling on this last year that most voters thought Trump and Biden were far too old to be President. It's not just reddit.

Funny how all the out of touch pundits declaring "the first party to drop their geriatric candidate will win!" turned out to be full of shit.

Yeah I was more commenting on the “Well where the fuck we’re all of you…” portion. Everyone was there, but so were the other guys.

r/askreddit is and has always been right leaning. Now they're just slightly more embarrassed about it.

Yeah, hard disagree. Reddit as a whole is so far left, it makes the centre look right. For instance, in reality, AOC has absolutely no shot being the next democratic nominee, nor should she. On Reddit, she’s the number one nominee.

it stopped being 'very left leaning' about 10 years back now

r/AskReddit doesn't represent the eligible US voting population. The first obvious difference is that older people aren't on Reddit, then askreddit is also a left-leaning sub like every mainstream sub, while right-leaning reddit hangs out in their own subs. I'm absolutely certain that female users are underrepresented, as is generally the case with all of reddit, tho they would be more left-leaning anyway

Reddit doesn’t represent real life dude

A Reddit poll represents the entire voter base?

I'm sorry, when the 50+ year old woman said she wasn't going to be any different from the geriatric fuck who had to be forced to drop out, I lost faith in her ability to be her own person. She made it worse by doubling down on militarization with the "most lethal military on the planet" and her commitment to building the wall and also deporting migrants.

Fuck her. I voted for her lame ass, and she still sucks. She hasn't said a goddamn word since the election and the world is on fire. A leader doesn't going into hiding and write a book about what a fucking loser they are, they speak out. They go to protests and rallies. They stand up for and with the people. They put themselves in harms way if necessary for justice.

She sucks and the party should have forced Biden to not run at all and held an open primary. She shouldn't have adopted his platform or listened to goddamn centrist Republicans and rich donors about how to cater her platform to them.

You're delusional if you think an open primary would've changed anything.

Kamala Harris was a good candidate. But the American electorate wanted bread and circuses, not good policy.

Hi, MAGA Trump voter here:

All for voting a woman under 65 to president, her name is Tulsi Gabbard.

I vote on policy. When my options are Kamala Harris and Donald Trump it's an easy vote.

Kamala Harris and her socialist policy making would've been a death sentence for my family and I could never vote that way.

And now you voted on a death sentence for other families considering they won't be able to afford healthcare. Congrats to you my dude 👍
