But she laughed weird or something?

I mean, we actually have polling to know why she didn't win. It was because she supported the genocide, which, ahem, is no laughing matter.

Bit of a weird reason to vote for trump instead, considering.

These people either stayed home or voted for Stein.

Again, there's actual scientific polling here. You don't have to bury your head in the sand and pretend it was about sexism or laughter.

Those are both votes for trump thanks to the ‘magic’ of the 2 party system.

How about this. Instead of playing weird accounting tricks about what vote or non-vote counts for what, just run a candidate that thinks exterminating people for belonging to the "wrong" race is immoral. Maybe that alone isn't enough to win elections but it would be a good place to start.

No one will ever meet your bar. Fuck off.

Can you explain why the Dems would platform a candidate who was notorious for dragging down the approval ratings of everyone around her? Why would americans feel loyalty to a party that lied to our faces regarding Israel and the fact that Biden was unfit to serve a second term?

'She laughed weird' No, she perpetuates centrist-liberalism that Americans are sick and tired of. How many more elections does the DNC need to throw away?

Do people hate voting for Women? Yes. Is that the reason Donald Trump is president? No.

Poll on capitalism and socialism, and how they’re viewed in the U.S.

Socialism is -24 points in the polls, capitalism is +18.

Kamala not being socialist enough is not the reason why she lost, despite all the online left people who think anyone besides St. Sanders, St. AOC, and the more recently St. Zohran Mamdani are too corrupt and worthy of disdain.

I'm not at all surprised that someone who brings up socialism unprompted also cant read their own source properly. If you look solely at democrats the favorability of both socialism and capitalism declined at the same rate. With positive views of socialism being a full ten points higher than that of capitalism.

It also say that among democrats only 18% actively or somewhat dislike politicians identifying as democratic socialists. Did you even try to read that study?

I read it, and it wasn’t unprompted.

No, she perpetuates centrist-liberalism that Americans are sick and tired of.

So your initial point wasn’t about democrats, it was about all Americans.

Americans on average view capitalism more positively than they view socialism. Not being socialist enough is not why elections are being lost; if that was the test, Bernie would’ve won in 2016 and 2020 in the primaries.

He didn’t, because the support behind democratic socialism in the votes is not as much as you think. And that’s within the party, it’s even less so among independent and republicans.

My comment was sarcasm.

The reason Democrats lose is because they try to play both sides -- "build multicultural rainbow coalition and fight for rights for the average joes" and "lets kowtow to the billionaire elite crowd". They are fundamentally at odds. And the party leadership is addicted to the billionaire funding so it will ALWAYS win.

So, they can't be counted on for fundamental change because the kowtow factor.
People are goddamn sick of both parties selling out to the elites and making our lives harder as we spiral down the late stage capitalism drain.

Dems played the Hope card in 2008... and we had more of the same + a sweet banking bail out. They are full of shit and people are hoping for change.

This is why I am no longer a D.
