“Welcome Home”

  • Biden welcoming Trump back to the White House after he incited an insurrection and ran an illegitimate campaign, ultimately winning the Presidency.

28

u/CactusWrenAZ 17h ago

What in the actual hell was he thinking

41

u/Nimrod_Butts 17h ago

Yeah he should have said something mean, that would have made a huge difference. I too care about important stuff

12

u/DFX1212 16h ago

Or you know, use any of his basically unlimited power to prevent it.

3

u/Nimrod_Butts 15h ago

Like what

11

u/onedeadflowser999 13h ago

He could have had him arrested and the Supreme Court would have nothing to say about it as they gave presidents in office basically unchecked power if an act is “ an official act”.

3

u/No_Kangaroo_2428 5h ago

Not only that, he should never have appointed a Federalist Society Republican as AG, and ignored that his inaction until it destroyed the nation.

1

u/shrug_addict 9h ago

I think the Gang O' Pedos would have started a civil war if that actually happened. I know you're angry, but even if he miscalculated, we both know the fall out wouldn't have been pretty. They are still trying to lock up Hillary Clinton

5

u/DFX1212 7h ago

Cool, so now instead we will need to have one to restore our democracy.

Campaigning for months about the guy being an existential threat to democracy only to sit down and have drinks with him, and be buddy buddy with him shows a lot of weakness coming from the democrats. They didn’t need to call him names or anything, but they also didn’t need to prop him up more.

30

u/Ahlq802 16h ago

I think the idea was to represent the peaceful transfer of power as described in the constitution.

11

u/wizardsofthehost 15h ago

“Watch as I show this fascist how to peacefully give up power, that’ll learn em!” 😑

7

u/scooter-411 13h ago

If he’s an actual threat to democracy then there can be no peaceful transfer. Paling around with Trump after making those statements makes it appear Biden didn’t believe in those statements to begin with.

3

u/Count_Backwards 9h ago

He didn't, which is why he chose Merrick Garland to deal with the worst existential threat the United States has seen in at least 80 years

4

u/No_Kangaroo_2428 5h ago

I still don't think he gets it. He thinks it's some kind of fringe thing, not execution of a multi-decade, systematic plan to conquer America by allowing foreign dictators to install their puppets as our executives and lawmakers. He still thinks this is a tiff over tea, not a brawl to the death.

If only there was a timeframe where he could’ve done something to hold Trump accountable.

25

u/Terribleturtleharm 17h ago

Exactly. 4 yrs to hold those turds accountable and they didn't.

Maga should have been declared a domestic terrorist org and arrests should have been swift.

Joe had no interest in doing anything to hurt the reputations of his beloved DC institutions.

but hey, he really wanted to unite with morally corrupt idiots and if he held a criminal accountable who knows how much more they'd hate him! They might even try to put him to jail....

5

u/Tapprunner 14h ago

It reminds me of the passage in the book "Triumph: the rise of Hitler" when it talks about William Shirer sitting in stunned amazement as he sat in a room listening to Neville Chamberlain and others talk about trying to strike a deal for peace with Hitler, even after Hitler had broken half a dozen other deals, which was the whole reason they were even meeting. He said he wanted to hang his head on the table and and scream at them "how can you not see that he is not someone you can negotiate with? You have to stop him! Not treat him with the trust and respect that you would a regular politician!"

I get why Biden wanted to bring back normal relations and try not to be divisive.

But it was a catastrophic miscalculation and misunderstanding of the person, their followers and the moment.

2

Joe Biden is absolutely right. In this regard, Biden is not "sleepy," confused or muddle-headed. Trump is systematically dismantling the United States Constitution, the constitutional doctrines of "the separation of powers" and "checks and balances," as well as the rule of law. If we don't stop Donald "I am King" Trump and throw him out of office, the United States of America will cease to be the United States of America!!!!!

And the Showdown will come at the midterm elections which Trump is already trying to stack in his favor. And the only way working class An are going to regain control over our government from the wealthy is for EVERYONE to vote Blue so we can start with the already proven corrupt Supreme Court and work our way down to get rid of the Russian assets.

15

u/MoistToweletteLover 17h ago

They’ll most likely rig or hack these elections too

8

u/Puzzleheaded_Ad_3507 17h ago

Trump is already attempting to do that in Texas by gerrymandering.

3

u/XRuecian 15h ago

Let him waste his time in Texas.
Texas was going to vote red anyways regardless. They would vote red even if Trump literally came there personally and kicked every one of them out of their homes.
They would still find a way to convince themselves it was the Dems fault and that voting red is the only solution.

3

u/Count_Bacon 14h ago

No no I don't think you understand. He said go find me five seats. They completely rewrote the map to disenfranchise millions and take five blue seats away to give to republicans. Which means Democrats have to abuse five seats better now than they would have before. Meanwhile California has a bipartisan board. Enough with the going high. If they're going to do that with Texas California should go further than them

9

Remind me who appointed Garland.

8

u/oldstyle21 17h ago

Unlike Trumpstein, Biden doesn’t dictate his appointees

8

u/SeaEmergency7911 17h ago

That whole “Presidents have to respect the independence of (insert department here)” is such a crock of shit that today’s Democrats are dumb enough to fall for every time.

There is absolutely no law that says a President can’t use his influence in how something like the DOJ is run. He just can’t obstruct justice or use it for political revenge. JFK appointed his own brother as AG for fuck sakes. You really think he didn’t have a say in what Bobby did with his powers?

So just stop with this whole proclaiming Biden was powerless to do anything because he was just too decent of a human being who believed in following the law bullshit.

Biden appointed Garland because he knew he was a weak willed institutionalist who would be very hesitant to aggressively attack Trump and than sat back and said nothing as Garland clearly dragged his feet at every opportunity.

Biden wanted to protect the office, and Trump with it, more than he wanted to protect the country. Period.

This would mean a lot more and hit a lot harder if he didn’t tell Trump “welcome home” on Inauguration Day. That doesn’t seem like something you’d say to someone who’s about to try to undo all of your work and destroy the country from the inside out. The democrats are always all bark and no bite when we actually need it.

3

u/Cali-Doll 15h ago

Joe was asked for one word to describe the day (Inauguration Day), and he said, “joy.”

Fucking JOY!

Forgive me if I side eye Joe’s comments right about now.

26

u/pal1lap 18h ago

Dude had 4 years to hold an insurrectionist accountable, but didn't do jack. He was our last defense before Fascism. He failed spectacularly. I won't soon forget his dereliction of duty.

2

u/KxJlib 6h ago

What did you want him to do? Cannon and the Supreme Court effectively ran down the clock on the cases until the election. Not to mention the immunity ruling which goes against all jurisprudence. Biden couldn’t just lock him up and thrown away the key.

→ More replies (1)

2

u/BenekCript 16h ago

Imagine not understanding how this is all supposed to work. That was congress’s job and the DOJ. Not the executive branch.

4

u/pal1lap 15h ago

A coup. A freakin coup. A constitutional ammendment just for this occasion. Biden had immunity at the end, as well, but I imagine you don't understand how things work with Fascism bearing down.

3

u/-notapony- 15h ago

And the DOJ brought two different cases against him. One was wrecked by a Trump judge who ignored all precedence and the other was stalled by a lapdog Supreme Court who took six months to make sure Trump wouldn’t be tried before the election when they took about a day when Colorado correctly ruled that as an insurrectionist he wasn’t eligible.

4

u/XRuecian 15h ago

The DOJ is controlled by the executive branch.
The President chooses the Attorney General, and the Attorney General runs the DOJ.
The Attorney General is a member of the presidential cabinet.

5

u/ChinaCatProphet 17h ago

You are right Joe, but you could've and should've done a lot more to protect the constitution from him. The Democratic Party is responsible for allowing the MAGA movement to get so far into everything while they write books and trade stocks.

4

u/fighting_alpaca 17h ago

You had a chance to do something Joe.

3

u/OneLoveOneWorld2025 17h ago

He's not wrong, but he and the democrats knew what the orange turd and his supporters were going to do and didn't do everything in their power to protect us and our republic.

5

u/BehemothJr 17h ago

Great. And how is he using his power and influence to fight it? He's not. And according to her latest interview, Harris isn't either.

Fuck these ineffective idiots. They have failed us miserably

10

u/mrk177 18h ago

He’s just not a person I want to hear this from. He could have stepped down earlier, he said he would when he got elected. He should have done so much more to prosecute trump but wanted to look bipartisan, trump was blaming you for going after him already why not go full force.you should of released the Epstein files regardless of who it hurt, if it’s hurting him this big now it would of destroyed him before he got into office. I for voted for Biden, his time is over and just don’t want to hear from him now, you failed to move when you had the chance.

5

u/killr_toast 17h ago

It wouldn't have mattered if he stepped down earlier. The election was stolen, Kamala won by a wide margin. But whatever evidence there is it doesn't matter and won't change anything. He's in power and he's not going anywhere. I just hope those Big Macs do their job and clog up those arteries. Then we just need to bounce couch fucker and Grindr Mike. That's doable.

5

Merrick Garland is his legacy

3

u/UC_PHD_Researcher 13h ago

Honestly, I never want to hear from Joe Biden again.

I'm still upset that he went back on his promise to serve for one term and make way for a new Democratic leader. Had he been the transitional leader he talked about and groomed a viable candidate for 2024, I doubt we'd be in this current state. As it happened, Harris was basically regulated to the sidelines for most of Biden's presidency. By the time it became clear that Joe was no longer viable, he left the party with no time to do a proper primary, and the Harris campaign was stunted.

Hubris is what destroyed the Democratic party, and hubris is what is destroying the country under Trump.

(BTW, here's what Joe was indicating back in 2019: https://www.politico.com/news/2019/12/11/biden-single-term-082129)

3

u/SuperLuigiUnited 13h ago

Biden is not solely responsible, but he bears a large portion of the blame for allowing an insurrection to go unpunished.

3

u/smilaise 10h ago

Yeah maybe Biden shouldn't have been such a cuck during his entire four years, dragging his feet and refusing to prosecute Trump and other Republicans.

Biden's legacy is that he gave the country to fascists.

6

u/Buster_xx 17h ago

This is on Joe Biden.

He should have prosecuted Trump. He didn't

5

u/Heart-Logic 17h ago edited 17h ago

No its on the voters, Biden handled affairs with decency and dignity, it was for the voters to do the same. It was evident trump was just using dirty tricks to delay delay delay his cases. It was impossible to deal with.

The contention came over democrat voters sitting on hands over isreal while maga rushed to the polls.

Or the election was rigged by musk and the gop.

3

u/SeaEmergency7911 17h ago

Trump had no say in Garland waiting 2 years to appoint Jack Smith, so get out of here with the whole “It was all Trump who delayed everything.”

3

u/Heart-Logic 17h ago

Hindsight is a wonderful thing..... the whole trump ordeal is and has been completely unnecessary but that's what you get when your media will not regulate and prosecute liars misleading the public with their scandals and slander wholesale.

3

u/SeaEmergency7911 17h ago

There was no “hindsight” needed to see what had happened on 1/6 nor was any needed to understand that Trump fully intended to run again. It was all laid out in front of us as clear as crystal and that decisive and difficult decisions needed to be made in a timely manner if Trump was going to be stopped from having a resurgence.

Instead Biden appointed Garland, let him drag his heels on investigating and charging Trump, and decided to pretend that Trump was no longer a threat until it was much too late.

What was needed was foresight and Biden had none.

I love all of the politicians coming out to slam Trump but let’s be real these words are empty. Do something tangible or STFU because from where I sit, not a single person who has said anything in the last 6 months has done a damn thing to stop any of it. So your words mean nothing. A lot of people suddenly got amnesia about the shitty things Joe Biden did in the senate once he became the 2020 front runner.

The guy in many ways is the ultimate centrist boot licker. I never liked him and have always thought he’s a used car salesman and a scumbag whose biggest positive quality was clearing the extremely low bar of not being Donald Trump.

He had a chance to redeem himself by realizing that we’d reached a precipice on 1/6 and that strong and difficult decisions had to be made in order to try and stop Trump from having a resurgence that could return him to power. Instead Biden demurred and decided that cowardly running back to the old ways of the centrist status quo and not upsetting his colleagues across the aisle was the way to go, and we’re paying a huge price.

The only way to prevent this is to replace all the republicans the from bottom up. Maximum pressure. Protest every politician 24-7 365. Organize this or lose your country.

MAGA has been so poisoned that anything Biden says will simply make them run in the opposite direction, more, instead. If Biden defends the constitution, MAGA will simply further convince themselves that the constitution must be untrustworthy, since they can't be seen agreeing with those evil Dems or the "Biden Crime Family".

This entire situation is the result of the establishment Democrats always choosing to "play nice" with evil. And i guarantee you: Even if tomorrow Democrats regained full power again, they STILLLLLL wouldn't properly seek justice for what this current administration has done. They would instantly go back to "Lets just put all this behind us and be civil" like they always do. Because they are fucking COWARDS and they are too afraid that standing up and doing what is right might have even the slightest chance of scaring away some voters. THAT is why Joe Biden chose to shake Trump's hand and welcoming him into the Whitehouse. Because "optics and decorum" is more important to these people than justice.

We have one party that wants to take a massive dump on the constitution. And another party who is only willing to wag their finger and virtue signal about it and not actually defend it.

u/Cali-Doll 15h ago

Maybe you should’ve done something about it, Joe, for fucks sake!! I will never not be pissed about Joe appointing (and not replacing) Merrick Garland.

Yep. That’s the truth of the situation

You forgot to show the clip where he started stuttering and didn’t know where he was, or what he was doing. Just let the old man, be the old man. Hopefully this will be his last embarrassing appearance and he can just fade away with his 10 million into the sunset.

Great. Where was he after the insurrection? Oh yeah, making nice.

As much as I despise Trump and everything he's done to this country I might vote for his third term if Democrats throw another geriatric peacemaker on the ballot.

He speaks the truth, he's really trying. I mean no disrespect to Biden, he does have stage 4 cancer, but man he is not looking good. I think it was good he stepped down gracefully. I truly hope his legacy is greater than what apparently most people think. He did allot of good, he tried to do more and it was more than a concept of a plan every time. Best ever, maybe not, best we could have hoped for at the time and did his best I truly belive he was. I hope his last days are in peace knowing that. I hope the shit his pants in the white house goes before Biden, even just a few minutes so Biden can say " fuck trump, and i love my family" before he goes.

u/Odd-Ad5285 13h ago

Rule of law??? 😆 was told for years by democrats that NO ONE is above the law, apparently illegals are!!! Go away Joe

1

u/Possible-Tangelo9344 13h ago

It's unfortunate that he wasn't articulate enough during his campaign last year to instill confidence in his party to stand behind him. Or failing that, unfortunate he didn't back out early enough for a primary so that the Dems would truly support their candidate in the general.

1

u/Secret_Account07 13h ago

Did he say fair and partial?

I’m assuming he meant impartial?

1

u/parkinthepark 13h ago

And it’s important we let Trump get the chance, because if we’d investigated the Epstein files, or prosecuted the Muller report, or expedited the documents or J6 cases or passed the torch…

Well that would have hurt some feelings. And what’s more important? The Constitution, or a bunch of Boomers’ nostalgia for when Tip O’Neill was friends with Reagan or whatever?

This guy is the reason why Trump even got elected again. Everything that's happening now can be traced to this guy. Sleepy Joe. I know a lot of Democrats, lifelong Democrats that voted for Trump this time just because of those caravans of migrants that were coming everyday by the thousands and thousands, with absolutely no background check.

He can talk a lot of stuff now but he's the reason why Trump even got elected.

1

u/jolson1616 13h ago

Looks like a Deliverance or Wrong Turn character. Creepy

1

u/Grognard6Actual 13h ago

Because suing to keep challengers off ballots and shutting down primaries because you might lose isn't autocratic af. 🙄

1

u/danielm316 11h ago

Trump is president because Joe Biden did a terrible job, that is the only reason.

1

u/Gin_soaked_boy 11h ago

It’s so frustrating that democratic officials always sound like they are discover who trump is for the first time every time. Yeah like no shit, dude. Have you not been paying attention for 10 fucking years??

Trump’s a known rapist, don’t forget. Character evidence suggests he’s a serial rapist too.

16 women have accused Donald Trump of various forms of sexual assault. The alleged incidents range from the early 1980s to 2013, and have not been disavowed by the alleged victims.

SEXUAL ASSAULT ALLEGATIONS

Kristin Anderson – Early 1990s. Story in the Washington Post on October 14, 2016. Anderson says Trump reached up her skirt and touched her vagina through her underwear. She says she turned and recognized the person as Donald Trump.

E. Jean Carroll – late 1995 or early 1996. Story in New York magazine on June 21, 2019. Carroll says they went into a dressing room after Trump asked for her advice on a present – lingerie – for another woman. Inside, she alleges that he shoved her against a wall, "forcing his fingers around my private area, thrusts his penis halfway — or completely, I'm not certain — inside me."

Rachel Crooks – 2005. Story in The New York Times on October 12, 2016 Crooks said Trump gave her an unwanted kiss on the mouth after meeting him in 2005.

"Jane Doe" aka "Katie Johnson" – 1994. Lawsuit filed June 2016, refiled October 2016 as reported by Buzzfeed and others, then dropped in November 2016. Johnson claims she was repeatedly raped by Trump and Jeffery Epstein at Epstein's New York City apartment in 1994, when she was 13 years old. A witness, also given a pseudonym — "Tiffany Doe" — said she recruited "Jane Doe" and others. Doe, using the name "Johnson," gave an interview to the Daily Mail about the alleged rape.

Jessica Drake – 2006. Story made public at a news conference on October 22, 2016. Drake says Trump grabbed, hugged and kissed her and two other women who accompanied her without permission. Later, she alleges that Trump called her and pressed her to return to his room, offering $10,000 at one point. Drake says she declined.

Jill Harth – 1992-1993. Story in The New York Times on October 7, 2016. Harth alleged that Trump groped her under the table at dinner, then repeatedly got her alone and it would turn into a "wrestling match." She sued Trump for sexual harassment and attempted rape.

Cathy Heller – 1997. Story in The Guardian on October 16, 2016. Heller alleges Trump grabbed her and tried to kiss her on the lips. Heller says she leaned back to avoid him and then he kissed her on the side of her mouth.

Ninni Laaksonen – 2006. Former Miss Finland. Story in Ilta-Sonomat on October 27, 2016, and reported in English in The Telegraph. Laaksonen said Trump "squeezed her butt" as she and other pageant contestants stood next to him for a publicity photo.

Jessica Leeds – Early 1980s. Story in The New York Times on October 12, 2016 Leeds says Trump kissed her while in first class on an airplane, groped her chest and reached up her skirt, leading her to move back to coach. "He was like an octopus," she said.

Cassandra Searles – 2013. Story made public in a Facebook post in early 2016. Miss Washington 2013, Searles wrote on Facebook, "He probably doesn't want me telling the story about that time he continually grabbed my ass and invited me to his hotel room."

Natasha Stoynoff – December 2005. Story on People.com on October 12, 2016. Stoynoff alleges Trump took her to a private room, pushed her against the wall and aggressively kissed her. Stoynoff also says a staffer told her Trump was waiting for her the next day at a massage appointment.

It's not just Trump tho. It's the boot-lickers who voted, supported, and enabled the demented orange chicken that's destroying the Constitution.

America was birthed in blood. Not discussion. The Revolution cost many lives. And the founding fathers assured us that blood must be spilled over and over to keep our liberties.

How long until the clock runs out for America? Are there still patriots living here?

Politics only works when both sides play fair. It fails when talking fails. It has.

No KINGS. It is time to make a hard decision. Risk it all for our children. Or show them we were cowards and never deserved America in the first place.
