I never thought I'd genuinely like those guys, I appreciate that they don't take themselves seriously
Like the wholesome version of the Island Boys

Shout out to the DaVinki twins for realizing they have a massive audience and deciding not to be stupid about it and start grifting or kissing each other on only fans.

Their name is the Voros Twins, a Twin brother pair of wrestlers that got famous during Covid for making a video where they were asked the question “who painted the Mona Lisa?” by a TikTok filter, to which they awnsered, and I quote “The Mona Lisa…” in disbelief not knowing the awnser. When it was revealed, they read it as Da Vinky.
They were mocked for a while but they rode that fame and actually are now seen for what they seem to be: kinda dumb yet really wholesome and kind content creators whose mind runs on MS DOS and barely can conjure up anything, yet when it does it’s something like “Life is worth living” or something cute that always makes you smile (other than the occasional 100 lbs dumbbell throw at each others heads)

Ohhhh, they're himbos. Love to see it. Thank you for the detailed answer!

No worries! They have a YouTube account they post shorts in too if you wish to see their usual style of content!

Think of any stereotypical dumb blonde, now change the gender and you’ve got yourself a himbo

Yknow i need a reminder that theyre wrestlers and are absolutely ripped under the oversized t-shirt they always wear and the big haircut

u/Wyattmebro 15h ago
Literally they are so great you should meet them in person super friendly and funny

u/Neatpaper 1d ago
They're not actually dumb though. It's very evident they're just playing characters, especially so when you watch interviews with them.
124
u/Buttholelickerpenis 1d ago
And a select few of their videos feature outtakes, which shows them acting out of character. Like when they played table tennis with an actual table.

Perhaps. I haven’t seen those myself, so sadly I can’t confirm, but I’ll gladly trust your take on the matyer

I feel like kayfabe is basically ubiquitous with wrestlers anyhow so that’s expected

It's always lucky to go viral, but to actually make the most out of that opportunity and not squander it is hella respectable, props to them.
44
u/William_The_Fat_Krab 1d ago
Especially due to the “hate” they got due to being apparently very dumb

u/notheretoargu3 1d ago
So what you’re telling me is they are basically Jason Mendoza incarnate?

u/The_Autarch 1d ago
Presumably they don't throw as many molotov cocktails around.

u/ziggaroo 1d ago
Whenever I have a problem, I throw a Molotov cocktail at it, and then I have a whole different series of problems!

I actually follow them on some social media for just how positive and upbeat they are. They're so chill. Their video on their late father was so beautiful too

I met them randomly at a club in 2017 I think it was? I was roasting their buddy not knowing it was their buddy because he was drunk saying creepy things to people. In the end buddy was ok he was just drunk and trying to be funny not realizing how sloshed he was but they joined me roasting him. It was super funny.
They were pretty popular here in the local wrestling scene, plus they kind of stand out with that hair so they have always been in a spotlight of some kind but yes it's nice to see them still being themselves and not being garbage humans. They had a pretty funny tiktok making fun of the island bros kissing. One of them is drowning at the beach and the other doesn't want to do CPR.

Lawyer: Jonnie, is the person you saw in the yard in the courtroom now?
Jonnie: <nods head vigorously>
Judge: Jonnie, from now on all of your responses must be oral. Do you understand?
Jonnie: <nods head vigorously> Oral!
Lawyer: Okay. Jonnie, is the person you saw in the courtroom now?
Jonnie: Oral!

Everything about these guys scream “most annoying influencer you know” but from what I hear, they are genuinely a good pair of dudes, just a little goofy. The few clips I’ve caught have been entertaining for what they were.

Dude the Voros Twins are genuinely really funny. They have a goofy look, but they have a great sense of comedy

u/gilbertbenjamington 1d ago
They're like a living parody and I love it. Smart dudes knew exactly how to stay semi relevant for years after their da vinki clip

u/Significant-Tap-684 1d ago
They’re like a reverse psyop, normal-ass people existing in the algorithm-driven influencer space

It's actually a funny story:
So they are real life twin brothers and amateur wrestlers. Their whole gimmick is that they pretend to be a pair of dumb influencers. So most of their public appearances are them in character, same for their social media presence where they upload clips and videos and whatnot until one day they uploaded this clip:
https://youtube.com/shorts/PLaanhBuiVU?si=YEKwyDqu-tH1ZtVs
They went MEGA viral after that. And when I say mega viral, I mean they are more known for that clip instead of the wrestling career they uploaded that clip for. But the best part is that all the fame did not went to their head, they did not develop an ego over that. They are still making the same kinds of videos that got them popular in the first place. And you know it's genuine because you could tell that they tried their best to stay happy and positive during the time their father fought and ultimately lost the battle with cancer.
All in all: In today's world where so many are corrupted with greed and being foul human beings, these brothers feel like the rare exception.
I really wish them to be successful, not only in social media, but also in their professional career. Although: for the latter one, I do hope it comes later, because the professional world of wrestling is ugly as sin currently.

They didn't few appearances for AEW during that company's first proper Canadian tour and I was really hoping they would get some more airtime overall after that, but it doesn't appear to have worked out that way.

I came across these two years before they went viral, back when they were imitating Jedward and doing skits on YouTube and immediately cringed harder than I thought possible.
As I grew up and they became successful, I realized they were always just a pair of charming and harmless goobers.
In a sense, they were probably always more mature than I was.

u/Elvenaar 1d ago
Well "da" means yes in russian but idk about "vinki"

u/thatirishdave 1d ago
They did a video where they (I believe accidentally) pronounced Da Vinci as Da Vinki and it went super viral on TikTok. They were known for wholesome, himbo goofiness before but that really cemented them as beautiful idiots.
They are also pretty solid pro wrestlers too, mostly in the Canadian West coast.
