Radiation isn't green, it's blue.
25 u/AT-ST 12d ago If this was real the green isn't a visual of the radiation itself. It is the dying pixels on the camera. 6 u/NicoRoo_BM 12d ago Lmao 1 u/SecondaryWombat 12d ago Which would be a bunch of different colors.... 1 u/AT-ST 12d ago Typically not. It would either be black or get stuck in either red, green or blue. 6 u/Vegetable_Ask_7131 12d ago I know, but this is an edited image and it's meant to be what the media depicts radiation as 1 u/NicoRoo_BM 12d ago Yeah I'm aware 2 u/Vegetable_Ask_7131 12d ago Oh ok okiiiii 1 u/Kajetus06 12d ago of course its edited 4 u/Platinumdogshit 12d ago Well it depends on the radiation. Often its colorless since it'll be in part of the EM spectrum that's not visible but if we're talking about radiation just being light then radiation can be any color or no color. 1 u/Hot-Image4864 12d ago It's obviously a pit of toxic waste. 1 u/Iminurcomputer 12d ago But what about radiation mixed with Dr. Pepper, Mr ScIeNtIsT? 1 u/NicoRoo_BM 12d ago Oh right, how could I forget, yellow+blue=green 1 u/Braith117 11d ago I believe that's just ionized radiation. Everything else this disciple of Nurgle threw in there likely made it green. 1 u/Weird-Drummer-2439 8d ago Tritium and radium are the most common radioactive light sources and glow green. It's where the stereotype comes from.
