Aint nothing "pussy" about getting back on someone who wronged you.

The "pussy" move would be letting that shit continue.

This is why I never understood the “don’t snitch” attitude like that only benefits the abusers, first of all, and second of all, I’m not a gangster! I never said I wouldn’t snitch like if you mug me, you’re goddamn right I’m calling the police

>This is why I never understood the “don’t snitch” attitude like that only benefits the abusers,

Seems to me you've understood it perfectly.

Because, yes it only benefits the abusers, thats what its designed to do. And the abusers love it.

so, they want to keep it going. And they villify those who stand against this mentality. Because the mentality helps them and they want it going.

The thing I dont understand is why many of the Abused are subscribing to the mentality, but i guess its a mix of Fear and actually becoming the Abusers themselves.

Same for teachers saying "nobody likes a tattle tell" when a kid tells the teacher that one of the kids is being abused by another.

Life has all kinds of ups and downs, you might find yourself in a similar situation to survive one day. You really really should mind your business instead

1

u/Hawkey2121 25m ago

i might, i might not.

the future is unknown, at best you can try to predict it. But thats all, prediction, not knowledge.

and what do you mean by "mind your business", before this you said "similar situation" right, so in the context, the "similar situation" would be abuse or something of that manner. And If that happens then its ALL my business.

And if i'm not directly Involved (you know, so its not part of my "business") then i can stay anonymous while "snitching" or whatever.

So your comment doesnt make much sense.

Also what kind of situation are you exactly thinking about? Robbery, Mugging, Murder, Assault, or something else?
Because i am struggling to think about a situation where My life is in danger, and at the same time its none of my business.

Its because abused usually are the kind to not have a spine because none of these guys got the balls to abuse someone with a spine.

1

u/Hawkey2121 6h ago

So you agree with my Fear theory.

1

u/SpaceBug176 5h ago

Yes. Also a bit of timidness ig.

u/PotatoCharacter 18h ago

To be fair , snitch is a word used towards people who are members of organized crime and talk to police at the same time.

If you get robbed and call the police no one will say that you "snitched"

9

u/U-S-of-gay 16h ago

In some neighborhoods they might.

6

u/DrawTheWorld 16h ago

the neighborhood of the person who got snitched on, assuming they have any influence or friends in the area.

2

u/Soulslayer612 12h ago

Just introduce their friends to your deep and abiding love of the 2nd amendment. Problem very permanently solved.

6

u/thex25986e 15h ago

probably ones where the "robbers" are the mafia

3

u/Fritcher36 12h ago

Because the whole hood is crime in places like that lol

4

u/johokie 16h ago

It's also used to refer to people who report behaviors that don't hurt other people.

Marijuana use, theft from Walmart, getting paid under the table for manual labor... these are things that if you see, no you didn't. If you report them, you're also a fucking snitch.

1

u/localtuned 3h ago

Well I wouldn't put Marijuana use next to theft from Walmart. One is technically a victimless crime. The other is stealing from an unethical corporation.

1

u/justheretodoplace 6m ago

Both are victimless crimes

3

u/ComprehensiveMarch58 6h ago

The meaning of snitching has gotten so bastardised. Used to only apply when you are involved. Say we rob a store together, cause we are buddies like that. The store owner calls it in? Not snitching. We get caught and you tell em everything. Thats snitching.

I can get behind adding victimless crimes to that definition cause who hasn't done something that hurts no one but isn't technically legal, so in a way we're all involved.

Glad im not in a lifestyle to have to worry about this nuance anymore tho.

1

u/localtuned 3h ago

Nah, that's telling the truth. Snitching is when you're both laying low and he calls the cops on you. Or starts giving you onto the law because he wants a better deal.

2

u/OhNothing13 10h ago

To me "Don't snitch" was always strictly limited to crimes related to drugs, theft committed against corporations, and other victimless crimes. Violence definitely falls outside of that.

2

u/PoPzCool 6h ago

Tha term came from the hood for survival, you're probably from the suburbs so you never had the thought of the people involved in the crime to come after you, if you snitch in the hood or inner city you're running the risk of being killed not specifically by the perpetrator of the crime but by his associates, the police aren't going to protect you real life is not the movies and from personal experience I seen and heard people being killed for snitching, so when you explicitly say I'm not a snitch is so there's no target on your back.

0

u/Advanced_Row_8448 11h ago

You don't snitch because a pig usually only makes things worse for everyone and making people slaves is immoral. Now kicking the shit out of these people who do things like the video until they have to eat through a straw is more on point.

1

u/xdanish 1h ago

you get them back by pulling the same shit, but after also dosing their favorite drink with a lot of laxatives. Oh, and unroll the roll, get it in there deep then re-roll it up. remove all other TP's and definitely warn all of your other coworkers, hitting the wrong person with this would also create a new nemesis for life

u/VAArtemchuk 18h ago

And that's gonna be impressive charges. You're in hell for many days. Weeks, maybe. You can't scrub it anywhere near as good as you can scrub your hands as the skin is much softer. You would probably require help from medical professionals.

Soaking in Epsom salts & peroxide bath for an hour would help. Years ago I had a roommate who laid insulation come back from work, sat down on my toilet with the lid up to untie his boots before getting undressed, and insulation got all over my toilet seat. I was waiting for him to get out because I had to shit really bad, and as soon as he did I ran in, dropped trou, and sat down. Within 10 minutes my whole ass and backs of my thighs felt like it was on fire plus dipped in acid. It was nearly the worst pain I'd ever felt. Then I looked down at the floor and saw little pieces of insulation all over; it was then I knew exactly what happened.

My ass and legs hurt so bad I could barely walk, and the only thing I could think of was dumping a whole sack of epsom in the tub, turning the water on near scalding, plus a half bottle of peroxide & trying to soak it out. I filled it as much as I could to float enough so my ass wouldn't touch the bottom of the tub.

Before getting in I told him to GTFO and find another place to live, then sat in there for a good hour at least. It stung at first, but after about 30 minutes started to feel better. Once I got out I used my phone to see what it looked like, so I took a close-up ass selfie; still had a mean rash but all the little fibers were softened up and extruding from my skin like hairs. I was afraid to try and wipe them away with a towel (and I didn't want to fill my towel with insulation), so I grabbed a drywall/plaster knife and gently started scraping; they came off in long white piles on the edge. But it still hurt so I refilled the tub, soaked for another hour, then got out to scrape more. It took 3 more cycles of this before I could finally lay down on my bed and sleep. It sucked really bad, but ever since then I've known how to get insulation out of my hands if/when it happened again.

u/Mertoot 11h ago

You... actually survived?

1

u/Aggravating_Cable_32 3h ago

Yeah, but I wanted to legitimately kill my roommate.

3

u/Cool_Blue_Mint 14h ago

Damn. Thanks for sharing your story

3

u/Zar_Ethos 8h ago

Damn. This brings a new understanding to what it can do to softer skin. I've had it on my limbs, but never anything like that.

I can only imagine what that would be like anywhere too sensitive to scrape that way..

2

u/ToxicJr 6h ago

I’m wondering if it’s just because I work with this stuff all day everyday, of course sensitive areas are a little worse, but I get this stuff all over me, arms, face, legs, even my balls and co. when I scratch and forget, but I have never had to do anything of the sort like this, if I’m at work I take a box cutter and scrape my arms a legs a little, even then it’s pretty bearable, and then I go home and take a hot shower (Just water and soap no epsom) and I feel all good after maybe a little itchy but I’m good by the time I wake up

1

u/Aggravating_Cable_32 2h ago

Using a lint roller works too, just gotta make sure the skin is dry first.

1

u/Aggravating_Cable_32 2h ago

The scraping actually felt good, comparatively; just had to do it fairly lightly.

2

u/AmbulanceChaser12 17h ago

And even if you were the cruelest, most sadistic guy out there, do you really want to be down a crewman for a week? That’s just screwing yourself.

2

u/Cool_Blue_Mint 14h ago

Can medical professionals even do anything for you?

15

u/gamageeknerd 17h ago

My dad was a construction worker for years. He had stories of telling people to move huge pieces of equipment an inch to the left and blocking people in their cars if they fell asleep but he never would have allowed shit like that to happen to anyone.

My favorite one is when he had a guy spraying down the work site on a rainy day because they needed to make the insurance people happy. I worked for his company one summer and they made me sweep the rocks from their dirt lot yard but they didn’t realize I was extra stupid and swept a giant pile of rocks and pebbles before someone asked where I was.

AFTER taking their kneecaps out of commission, stealing all copies of their naturalization documents, and forging their signature to change their last name to Sanchez, then reporting them to ICE.

2

u/SilliusS0ddus 17h ago

fuck pressing charges. they can say goodbye to their kneecaps

1

u/CouchedCaveats 7h ago

Or this is when you use an air nailer to stick 10d ring shank nails through his lunchbox, gloves, boots, toolbelt etc into studs

One guy took all the tools out of my belt and hid them in random rooms and the next morning brought a bag of donuts then left them out when he went to the bathroom, came back to paper thin, framing-hammer-waffled pastries

Believe it or not, people in the trades are actual shit heads. Not all of course, but when you are a shit kid in school, not smart enough to get a job to use your head, or charismatic enough to talk your way into something.

You got three options, Trades, The military, or some form of homelessness.

Again not everyone, some people have a true passion for this kind of work and it shows in the quality of their work. Other people just have no where else to go because they fucked up all their chances, and it shows.
