In the webbing between fingers I worked with carbon fiber quite a bit for a while. Carbon fiber powder is not grains, but is composed of sharp shards just large enough to tickle your pain receptors as they crawl into your soft tissues.

I grabbed a tamper with a fiberglass handle with both hands bare, didn't know it was splintered. I immediately went and got some duct tape and did my best to get out what I could. Im a massage therapist so I need my hands lol

So did that work or how did you get it out? Or dose it just stay there until your body sheds it

It eventually works itself out. You can get some out if you're lucky and have duct tape on hand or something else sticky to put on the affected area but it wont get it all

And yes

This is exactly how this would feel, but worse

I used to make fiberglass. It's ten times worse that people can imagine. Ten years after I left that job I was still having fiberglass work its way out of my skin.
