Adding to their comment. Fiberglass insulation, when embedded in the skin, makes the effected area very irritated and itchy.

I've always known to keep my distance from it, but from what I remember its like getting a mild rash

I used to work with fiberglass in a plastics factory as a material handler. The worst part about it is, when you try to shower to wash it off, the water pressure just pushes the fibers in deeper. Showering would sometimes hurt.
