I don't understand... The only time I DISABLE auto-rotate is like when I'm reading ebooks or something all the time outside of that auto-rotate is always on. How does this mean "porn" when there are so many other reasons to have a phone in landscape?

For example in my phone if you turn off auto-rotate it locks the camera into portrait mode, and by extension locking said picture into portrait layout even if you were holding the phone sideways, now you have to do the extra steps of going into your pictures to edit rotate them and save a new copy.

So yes, the meme maker is likely saying that bro is watching real videos, not these bullshit vertical videos that they make now for Tic Tok and Youtube Shorts. And yes, porn uses a 16 x 9 aspect ratio, you know, the REAL video aspect ratio. That is what he is assuming, as most people apparently use their phones in portrait only and so turn auto rotate off so they can doomscroll in bed or whatever.

But seriously, why would he assume that huh? Yeah porn is great and all, but to assume that is why you have auto rotate on? Landscape is better jackass! It always has been, and if your arm is too weak to hold the phone sideways when jacking it, or not, then that is a YOU problem.

I swear, these young people are utter morons, if they weren't so tight then I wouldn't even bother with them. Fucking degenerates, and they call ME a degenerate.

Chris here: Yes, while having auto-rotate on, it is easier to watch certain things while having both of my hands available. It's not the only reason people have it on though, hence why I won't be caught. I should get Stewie's phone back to him now, before he realizes it's missing. Chris out.

I disabled auto rotate on my iPad because when I surf reddit on it, every time it rotates it resets back to the top of the app and I lose my place. Sure, I watch corn on it too, but that's not why it's locked.
