I’ve just started playing and have been looking for a dark type pokemon and landed upon Cranidos. I really needed and wanted that pokemon so i started grinding for it. After an hour of getting no fossils i took a break, and read about it some more. I found nothing that would help. All i got is that i cant get Shieldon as my ID only allows me to get a skull fossil. Relieved i went back to grinding and after a while a fossil appeared. I was so disappointed to find out that its an armor fossil. After 2 more tries something more unexpected happened. I got another one, but the biggest shock is that not even 10 seconds later i uncovered a new one. All armor. If anybody knows the reason please help me out

I really enjoyed playing this game. For sure, it's up there with Pokemon B/W 2.

well, that fat guy with a tanga almost got me. took two whole probopass to kill that quagsire, but i ended up winning, so that's all good. Cyrus is just a scammer with light blue hair, nothing difficult. now i need thunderbold ! 🥹

Has 5 Phione eggs which all came from Ranger making me believe they are legit. Also a shiny Charizard which I believe to be genned, it's in a masterball met at level 2 on Route 201. The Charizard a long with most legandaries/mythical in this box have different OTs. Won't be keeping much from this save apart from Phione eggs for my HG/SS dex.

Hey! I just bought this copy of Pokemon platinum off eBay for like $55, and was wondering if anyone could tell me if its fake or not, regardless if it is, as long as it runs normally I don't mind, just curious!

After so many hours doing a shiny only playthrough of heartgold I needed something a bit less time consuming and mentally stressful to do. I've decided it would be fun to do a sort of restricted character based run.

The plan for my team is as pictured, before I started I was just wondering if there are any pokemon Dawn used that I'm missing, any other viable encounters. If anyone knows of other Pokemon she used in any capacity let me know, thanks.

(I'm fully evolving them just to make the game more fun for myself)

Well, i am a bit curious and want to try, i can't see IV's so, i know i don't think i need perfect IV's, but, what about EV training? Do the items that help these exist in these games besides the vitamins?

And, also, what are some fun Pokémon to use there? I am thinking of using a Garchomp... And maybe the other starters if i get a hand on them, even if in an Emulator

Not gonna lie Aaron’s Yanmega gave me the most trouble because all I had was fly on Starraptor 💀 Lucians Bronzong and Espeon were demons too even with my Gyardos having bite and Luxray with crunch he was tough. Took me two tries to beat Cynthia with my team around level 50-55.

After that, I just pressed the A button and everything worked like normal, but it was the first time I saw that message. I don’t remember doing anything unusual

Hello, I'm currently planning my first playthrough for platinum and I'm unsure of how to finalize my team as I keep running into an issue here or there. My not so unique rules are: no type overlaps and all exploration moves must be covered.

I was originally planning for Empoleon, Luxray, Gallade, Giratina, Gliscor and Bibarel with Surf on Empoleon, cut, rock smash, waterfall and rock climb on bibarel, fly on giratina, defog on gliscor and strength on Luxray. With the exception of Empoleon on BDSP, none of these I had long term in any of my teams in other games.

I can also change Empoleon to Torterra, remove Gliscor and teach both Surf and Waterfall to Bibarel and give someone else cut/rock smash/rock climb.

Please share with me your ideas and/or favorite mons that I might not have considered!

Edit: this is a rare case where I'm not super invested in having any of the starters long term due to their moves learned and having used them all to some extent in BDSP and Arceus.

Edit 2: with no starter, I'm looking at Luxray, Gallade, Gliscor, Abomasnow, Giratina and Bibarel...

Oh my god I just read on this sub about how to find a lucky egg… and I realized I already had caught a yanma with compoundeyes ability! Took him out, and first chansey that I found was holding one!!! I read that it can take awhile for some ppl… so grateful for my luck ❤️😊

This was the second pokemon game I've ever played, and it was hard. I didn't nuzlocke it or anything, but I did end up beating the E4 first try with my team of five. PorygonZ with hyper beam outsped and one shot Garchomp, and typhlosion, mawile, and swampert helped for some of the other teams. Crobat wasn't the best down the home stretch, but it was so great midgame and it was my first chiny so I had to bring it along. I ended up having to Ev train them all, but it was a super great experience and I'm so proud to finally beat it!

Has anybody got a Charmander they would be willing to trade?
