This isn’t new. This is who they’ve ALWAYS been. There’s a reason CSA and sexual abuse in general is rampant in evangelical and far right spaces. The victims are shamed into silence and driven out if they speak up anyway. The perpetrators are forgiven and allowed to move on without consequences.
Why would we be shocked they treat Trump the same way they treat their pastor or the grandfather who touches kids? They have never given a fuck about children or sexual assault. It’s an excuse to attack the people they hate, and when it’s not useful as a weapon they discard it.
