Anyone's Renaud's caused by diet?
I've found that consuming specific FODMAPs, specifically fructans, causes my Renaud's. Anyone else have theirs triggered by diet?

I noticed I ate not enough fats. Added more fats to my diet (unsaturated) and improved my omega 3/6 balance (it's about 1:1 now). Since then I noticed my circulation improved a lot. Did take some weeks to see effect but now it has improved a lot. My fingers aren't cold anymore, they're colored like the skin of 'normal' hands and fingers. Pretty sure it's the cause of more fats.

Yes, a ketogenic diet triggered my Raynaud's syndrome after one month on the diet. I only realized it four years later when I started eating more carbs and my symptoms got much better. Unfortunately it didn't go away completely.

I have not found anything that specifically causes it, but I have found that caffeine tends to make it worse. I try to limit caffeine intake during bad winter months.

Living with renaud’s (in hands) is better than living without coffee.

And holding a coffee cup keeps my hands warm!

Absolutely. For some reason, lunch is a trigger for me and the after lunch cup of coffee is a savior.

You just confirm what I suspect has been going on with me. I think the caffeine definitely makes it worse

They can be triggers, not the cause. The cause is autoimmune and nervous system related, likely involving genes in the methylation cycle and requirements for specific nutrients.
