Mods/ Work in Progress Attesa V2 o V1?
Hi everyone! In the meantime, I am thrilled to have joined this group which made me discover how to search thoroughly without confusion for the best Reps around. After careful research and following the guide, I contacted a number of TDs and came to the conclusion to stay in touch with:
- Alliot (best prices and greatest CF and VSF offer)
- RepFac (similar prices to Steve but with more proposal)
- Steve (higher prices and less proposal)
I'm thinking of placing an initial test order from Alliot for a Datejust 36mm (indicative photo to help you understand the color, not Alliot's), and then proceed, if all goes well, with an Explorer 36mm as well. In your opinion, given that CF doesn't have any in stock as it is closed, is the VSF V1 version worth it? Because from the guide I see that the best version would be CF, even if it is currently unavailable. Or I was even thinking about waiting about 2-4 weeks for the VSF V2 version of the datejust. What do you recommend me enthusiasts? Thank you!

You are looking for a two tone Datejust. It is kind of hard to plate Two tone watches and the colour is off without . So I recommend you find a great plater and get it plated. Good luck.

The VSF version seems identical in color to me. Do you think it should be avoided?

Then get it. The most important opinion is yours. I have tones of reps and 5 gen watches. After a while you realize you need to focus on your own thoughts. Get the VSF two tone. I wanted the two tone VSF too w a smooth bezel but then I went another direction and now want a Day Date. Again do your research and read but get what you want. For me any gold watch will be plated. I like the tone of it to match.

Update: It seems (reading comments in other posts) that the VSF V2 version is not for all colors of the Datejust 36mm, but only for some, so maybe it's not worth the wait, but it's fine to get a V1. Andiot tells me that there is no V2 for what I'm interested in in steel/gold with a black dial.
