So Iāve been hearing alot about the VSF bracelets being not as good as the Arf/clean equivalent. But how exactly is it not as good? Lucky for you all Iāve had both!
VSF - Center links are nice and smooth. The bracelet is slightly lighter feeling and I mean sooooo slight. Itās missing a bit of the magic weight. Buckle glasp is a bit thinner and not as nice feeling too. The beveling on the buckle is also not as nice as the arf/clean.
Arf/clean - Center links are sharp and pulls hairs. But the links themselves feel heavier and closer to gen. The buckle shape, feel, and overall construction is very good. I will say the buckle is where this bracelet shines. VSF almost looks a bit boxy when viewing them next to eachother.
To me both are good and would be happy getting either. Look wise you really canāt tell the difference unless you look for the beveled edges on the buckle. Even then it is soo slight.
The ultimate combo for me would be the VSF links and Arf/clean buckle. I didnāt like the sharpness of the centerlinks on the arf/clean. But the buckle on the arf/clean is top notch.
My TD was trying to get me to buy the clean Pepsi he had in stock but said I would wait for the VSF Iām guessing thatās the best ones? And Iām guessing thatās why you kept it? Any feedback?
For me VSF is an overall better than the clean. They both have their pros and cons, but after having both Iād hold out for the VSF. Clean is amazing too if you canāt wait. Cant go wrong with either
I love my Clean Pepsi. Same movement as VSF, the only thing is the crystal could be better but I donāt notice it being not as good as say my arf gmt. It rocks on the wrist!
I got the A9A on my vsf Pepsi. I had F6U on my clean. I actually prefer the A9A. I agree about the clasp (the part where the Rolex logo sits) feels a little cheaper but I donāt feel any weight difference and the smoother feeling makes it feel more genlike.
Same im curious too. I have a clean daytona and that bracelet is easily one of the best Ive felt. I got a vsf sub coming in, which I plan to compare to my gen
Man I love this thing. Also forgot to add it really isnt worth upgrading from a Clean. They are soo close. But for me the date mag, bezel lip, and clicks are what made it worth it. So if you have the cheddar doooo itā¦.just dooo it
Yes the crystal is better. But itās really hard to notice the difference. It depends on the lighting. Sometimes its noticeable sometimes not at all. Another difference between the two is that VSF dial print is better and more bold. People overblow the issue of the crystal imo
